I just returned from a 6 day stay at Homewood Suites. When we arrived we called for a free shuttle pick up (which arrived promptly). Jeff (our shuttle driver) was very personable and gave us suggestions of what to do while we were in the area, including a great recommendation for dinner at the nearby Café Laredo (Mexican) restaurant. When he first picked us up, he greeted us with ‘Welcome Home’ which I thought was cute, but a little corny. Well, what I came to realize was that the staff at Homewood Suites really did their best to make you feel welcome and feel at ‘home’. We were checked in by Donna (the front desk manager) who put us in the room across from my parents (without us even asking). The two room suite was clean and very comfortable. Our stay also included breakfast every morning and dinner Monday – Thursday night. I have to admit that my expectations of getting good meals was quite low and I was very pleasantly surprised. The quality and variety of the food was good. Of course, there are a lot of good restaurants in the area, but we ended up having breakfast most mornings and several dinners at the hotel and were very satisfied. For breakfast, there was always something hot (eggs, omelets, French toast, and/or home fries), oatmeal, cold cereals, make your own waffles and a variety of donuts, muffins, etc. plus juice and coffee. For dinner, there was one choice on the menu each night, but they let you know ahead of time, so if it isn’t something that you like you can always go out. Dinner was a complete meal (main dish, vegetable and starch) and even a little salad bar. What made the food even more enjoyable was the wonderful service by Kim, the head of food services. She made it her business to make sure that everyone had what they needed. She was very accommodating of her guests and made you feel like you were a guest in her home.
Carlos (another shuttle driver) was very friendly and helpful. We were also impressed with the housekeeping staff, especially Alberta. We had lost a diamond earring and thought there was little hope of recovery. However, after some searching, we realized that it had been placed on the bedside table and later learned that Alberta had found it and placed it there. Needless to say, we were very grateful and appreciated her honesty. My parents had an extended stay at the hotel this winter and the friendly and very accommodating staff really made them feel like they had a “Home Away from Home”.

I stayed at this hotel because it was the only one I could find in the area where I needed to be. It ran me about $200 a night, but it was a very nice place. I had two rooms that included a kitchenette with a stove, fridge and microwave. The living room and bedroom each had a flat screen TV with all the usual cable channels. The room was quiet each of the four nights I stayed. The heating-and-air system was powerful, changing the climate in minutes.

The lobby-and-dining area had a big fish tank. Breakfast was the usual hotel fare of bagels, oatmeal and fruit. But the spread was bigger than most places I've been. Also, the place had a great workout room with a top-of-the-line treadmill, elliptical machine, recumbent bike and weights. It was, however, small.

The hotel is in a high-end shopping development with a movie theater a few steps away. It is also across the street from a Starbucks and Target. The nearest beach is 20-30 minutes away depending on traffic.

All in all, a nice place to stay if you don't mind laying out some cash.

The breakfasts and dinners prepared by Kim and her staff were excellent. All the staff form the front desk to the cleaning were great to deal with. The location was awesome close to everything as well as the dining and the pool area.

We are frequent guests of Hampton / Hilton suites and this did not disappoint.

Although we had a few issues with our room, management was very responsive in fixing the issues. Best features of this hotel:
* Spacious room: Great for our family of 4
* Breakfast and dinner: nice buffets and rate includes dinner on week nights
* Location: Great for touring -- close to both highways and beach
* Room features: 2 large TVs, frig and lots of storage space -- table for working

When traveling we all special needs and services from time to time.
Their front staff was very accommodating, and a pleasure to deal with.

Kim, their Food and Beverage Supervisor, was very personable and friendly to us, and all other customers. She gave us a warm feeling of concern and assistance on daily basis, which was very comforting.

Hotel is located next to Bell Towers Mall, which has great places to eat!
We has some great alantic salmon, as well as, one the best "New York" pizza's that we have ever eaten.

Check this place out for a quiet convenient and comfortable place to stay.
