Description: If the food we serve is not fit for our table, you can rest assured it won't sit on yours... The history of Francesco's is a tale of two unique stories that eventually became one. Founded by Jimmy Greco on Beth Page, Long Island in 1958, the deli has served its guests with authentic Italian food for nearly 60 years. In 1978, Greco moved to Fort Myers Beach and renamed the deli Greco's Mousetrap Italian Delicatessen. Over the next two decades Greco's established itself as the preeminent Italian deli on Fort Myers Beach. Enter Francesco Razzano, Sr. In 1998, Razzano was looking for a new opportunity. Having recently sold his bar restaurant outside of Pittsburgh, PA, Francesco was tired of the cold winters and pondered a move south. When he learned of an Italian deli for sale in Fort Myers Beach, Razzano jumped at the chance to fulfill a life long dream. Born in Cervino, (Caserta) Italy, Francesco immigrated with his family to Ellwood City, PA in 1955. While he never forgot his heritage, Razzano embraced the opportunities his adopted country afforded him. Following service in the United States Navy during the Vietnam era, Francesco settled in Midland, PA where he owned and operated Frankie's Tavern for nearly twenty years. Even though Frankie's wasn't an Italian restaurant, Razzano never forgot his roots. It certainly wasn't unusual to find Francesco in the kitchen making an impromptu homemade pizza or filleting smelts for his patrons. Since acquiring the deli in 1998, it has been Francesco's goal is to provide his guests with the finest Italian cuisine using the same recipes he was raised with.

We ordered our first night there as we were tired from driving. My husband got a steak sub, I got a muffalatta and my daughter got a slice of margarita pizza. We all shared a antipasto salad. Everything was good but the pizza. It was burnt, probably because it was only a slice but she ate it anyway. The subs were delicious and the delivery was fast

Grazie! We certainly appreciate you enjoyed the majority of your visit. Unfortunately, the fact that your slice of pizza was burnt is unacceptable . As a small, family-owned deli we strive to ensure our guests leave happy. In future, please ask to speak with Francesco or Suzanne, they will do everything in their power to ensure we exceed your expectations. Be sure to like us on Facebook for our latest updates and specials. Ciao! !

The Pizzeria is a Authentic Italian restaurant transplanted in south Florida. The owner (Italian of Course)gives each child a cup full of Gold Fish snacks to munch on until their meal is ready. There is only about 10 tables in there but it is so full of Italian memorabilia that customers just gaze around until it's time to eat. Truly a memorable experience

We ordered a pizza for take-out And I thought it was very good. That said, it had a heavy garlic flavor as I have seen mentioned in other reviews. Fortunately we all like garlic, but I can see how that might throw some off. A large on topping pizza was about $19 but this is a beach town so I expected that price. I did talk with the owner a bit and he was very kind. Would definitely go back.

Ordered 2 pizzas from here & they were both delicious. Word of caution, they use a crazy amount of garlic, my boyfriend needed a whole roll of Rolaids after he ate!
