We stayed at the Conerstone last week. Myself , wife and daughter age 6. Had a WONDERFUL time. Cornerstone has everthing you need and more!!! Loved the beach chairs, pool and all the toys they have for the kids. The beach is a close walk from the pool and was not crowded during our stay. Dining was good also. Heavenly Biscuit is a must!! We will be back again soon!!!!
We recommend the Jet Ski tour two condo's down with the dolphins and manatee, was a blast!!!!

Room Tip: room 403 was nice 2 room great views

We recently visited FMB for 7 nights. We arrived on Saturday to our condo, but had to back track a mile to leasing office (not a big deal because I never asked where to check in at). We were given our keys and the policy sheet and the check in process took all of 20 seconds. When we got settled in the condo we did a walk through and it was amazing. The best place we've ever stayed on the island! The whole condo was clean and very inviting. The beds were amazing and the views from each bedroom were spectacular (the master overlooked the gulf and the guest bedroom overlooked the bay). There was plenty of drawer space and closet space to really make this place feel like home for a week. The bathroom was spacious and all linens were provided (even beach towels under the sink!)The living room/kitchen area had a floor to ceiling view of the gulf, which opened up onto a screened in porch with a table and 6 chairs. It was very clean and had everything one would need to cook for a week. Since we were vacationing, there was no cooking to be done, but all of the utensils, plates and cookware was in excellent condition and would be very nice should you choose to use them. There is also a washer/dryer in the unit, which was awesome! We were also provided with 4 beach chairs, an umbrella and a stake to put your umbrella into the sand. We used those every day of our stay it was so nice not to have to rent items like that. We did see dolphins 1 morning of our stay and the sunsets were amazing! You wouldn't every have to leave to have a gorgeous view!

The condo is located about 3-4 miles down from the pier and is just far enough away to be away from the noise and crowds, but close enough that you could be anywhere in just a couple of minutes. There were only about 3 or 4 other couples staying in other units and all were very friendly and polite. There is a pool that is large enough to accomodate everyone and several beach chairs and tables around. There is a private entrance from the beach to the pool area, so you can take a dip after being in the ocean all day.

A couple things to take note of: you will need your room key to access the elevator. This did come in handy because we could leave our beach stuff out in front so we did not track sand in with us, and we knew that it would be safe. Right around the entrance to the beach we noticed several thorny bushes and stepped on a couple that had gotten loose in the sand, so make sure to wear water shoes or sandals.

I have no complaints for this condo and will recommend this property to anyone visiting the area. We will be staying here for every vacation in the future. My only one complaint is that we had to leave so soon!

Pack lightly as there is no need to bring loads of clothes with the laundry facilities in the apartment. If you prefer to dine in and watch the dolphins, pelicans all from your balcony, this has to be the place for you. Everything you need.

Room Tip: All rooms look to have great views of the sea.

Cornerstone is ideally located just off from the main hub of Fort Myers Beach, so the central attractions are a beach stroll away but just far enough to ensure ample beach space for families. The accommodations and amenities of the the resort in general and the room specifically are excellent: the pool area is wonderfully kept, the parking is good, and the rooms contain all the modern conveniences with a touch of upscale elegance. Also, there is a Publix gorcery store right across the street, so stocking the refrigerator was no chore. My whole family enjoyed every aspect of our stay at the resort; our only regret was that we could not stay longer.

Once again, we had a very relaxing, fun vacation at The Cornerstone Beach Resort on Fort Myers Beach. I can't say enough about this place. The units are nicely furnished and well stocked with just about everything you will need. Only twelve units so most days you may even have the pool all to yourself. What a tough decision, to spend your day relaxing in the sun, lounging by the pool or, on the white sandy beach looking out into the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. Fort Myers also has some really great shopping, lots of outlets and a huge fleemarket. We can't wait to return next year. Thank's Lori for all you do.

This was a very comfortable apartment-hotel with a perfect situation on the beach. We liked Fort Myers Beach very much since it was quite calm and not crowdy. The beach was very nice.

The Seaside is a very nice, clean and comfortable vacation spot. The condos are located on the beach front and the view from the room is beatiful looking onto the gulf. The pool is very nice and there are plenty of nice restaurants close by. We all swam in the gulf and enjoyed the beach. We had a large group of friends/families from our community all there for the week and just a great time. Great family vacation spot and would recommend highly.
