A beautiful restaurant with really great steaks, but the service is predictable--the schpeil about the 500 degree plates, etc., but then pretty unhelpful about anything else. Yes, they have some GF items, but their baked potatoes are not. That's why we went, to get a steak and baked potato. I could have used a lot more help from the server about how massive the portions are. We could have ordered half the food we did. We ordered two surf and turf with two veggies and it could have easily fed 4 people. We needed our server to tell us that, instead we learned that the plates are very hot. And what's with the nice little candlelamps at every table without any candles or light in them at any table?

Our group, 16 people had mixed reviews. 3 people got the Fish of the day, sea bass, $38 was terrible, small portion and tasted almost spoiled. My steak, the Delmonico was very tough but still tasty. But overall the others said their food was delicious. All the sides and salads were excellent. Service was great.

In a private room for our group, we enjoyed some of the best and biggest coconut shrimp i have tasted. The steak was very good and the Grouper was very tasty. Great deal on Stags Leap wine . The orangesicle cheesecake was marvelous.

When my husband decided to take me out to Mark's for our anniversary, I have to say I wasn't sure the meal would be that great. Although there are a lot of "good" restaurants in the area, we have found very few "excellent" ones. I'm happy to report, Mark's is going on the "Excellent" list -- at the top!

Everything we had -- from the appetizer to dessert -- was of the highest quality. The French Onion soup contained just the right mixture of soup, cheese, and bread. It wasn't salty at all!

Our steaks were excellent. It's been a long time since i had a steak that was this good. Side dishes are extra and one is big enough for two people to share. We had potatoes and asparagus. Neither disappointed.

We rounded out dinner with Creme Brulee. It's was perfect -- creamy -- not gritty or clumpy (yes, I have been served both before in other places).

The service was flawless and attentive without being intrusive. Dinner for two can easily be $100 (especially with cocktails or wine) but it's worth it!
