I wanted to try someplace new that was close to my hotel. The place is not 'fancy' but they do serve some delicious eats, along with an amazing selection of craft beers. I tried a good Hefeweizen, and had a prime rib sandwich with quinoa for a side. Great light dinner while traveling.

Whether and how the bartender at the Brass Tap knew why I was grinning, I have no idea. But he sure knew how to pull me a good pint when I dropped in there on Sunday evening. Not only did he give the pint "just the right head", but he signed it with a perfectly sculpted Smiley an' all! A supremely nice touch to chillax and celebrate with after successfully completing a challenging 4 hour oral and practical examination.

The Brass Tap donated beer to a local hotel for guests evacuated from their homes during the Mathew. Thanks Brass Tap!

A local pub that needs some rehab. The booths and chairs are ripped and the tables are wobbly (and that's BEFORE a few drinks!). The food choices are nonexistent but the beer and wine selections are great! For a total experience, bring in food and enjoy the beer!
