I searched the internet for weeks trying to find a motel with "old Florida style" and came across the Sea Scape Motel. It was pink on the outside with dolphins and other scenery painted on the walls. Once we arrived it was even more adorable in person! The rooms were very large and airy even with two teenagers and our three dogs! The suite was amazing and the french doors opened up to expose a glorious view of the ocean. Debbie and Stacey were amazing hosts. We had more than enough towels and there were plenty of other amenities such as an outdoor shower, stuff to "borrow" to use down at the beach, and tons of outdoor seating. The only thing missing was an outdoor pool, but even that couldn't keep us from coming back again. This place is a gem.

Room tip: Suite was outstanding!

Unfortunately our stay was very short. Our plan arrived late and we waited 2 hours for our rental car so we didn't arrive at the motel until after midnight. The office closes quite early, but a key and clear direction were left for us. We stayed in the Oceanfront Suite (Room 14). The room was large and had a kitchen, two sitting areas, a daybed, and a king size bed. It was cute and beachy-cottage like. The bathroom, unfortunately, was not very nice. Although the tub/shower surround seemed new, the bathroom was very narrow the the other fixtures were outdated. It was not a relaxing spa-like bathroom, but it was clean. BUT the ocean is RIGHT THERE. We heard the waves when we arrived late at night and we were not disappointed the next morning. There were lots of shells on the beach, too. I wish we had been there longer to enjoy it, but we left before the office was even open. In the daylight, the motel was very cute and Florida-feeling. If you are looking for sleek and modern, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for something beauty and comfortable, I would suggest checking it out.

Room tip: Room 14 is the only room that faces the ocean, but the rest of the rooms are very close.

Sea Scape is a wonderful little boutique place in an excellent area. Great restaurants and pubs out on the ocean and fun places minutes inland across the bridge.
The manager Debbie was so helpful and courteous even making a very late check in seamless and easy.
Jodi was our housekeeper and made sure the room was tidy with fresh towels each day and never had to worry about leaving our things all over the place.
It’s been 5 years that we spend a long weekend in Melbourne and always go to Sea Scape. Best part is a late night cocktail out front along the beach listening to the waves crash and seeing the turtle nests tended too. Sea Scape won’t disappoint. Can’t wait for our return next year!

We stayed here and was such a neat place. The atmosphere was good. About 100 feet and you are on the beach. The girl employed there Stacy took great care of me and my friend . Advise you to try this little motel out.
Thanks Stacey.

We stayed at this motel for one night and enjoyed it very much. The motel has a great location and a little garden next to the ocean. The room seemed a bit old, but that's fine.
When we first walked into the room a smell of a smoking room hit us. Must be from a while back as it is a no smoking room. However it was not a good first impression. The AC also seemed old and was very noisy all night.
However, staff was really nice, the motel is not too expensive given the spectacular location and we were overall satisfied with our stay.
