Great location! Beautiful view! Good for teenagers. Can't visit the lighthouse unless you're part of a tour. Very interesting museum. Nice perspective of the origins of the Jupiter area.

Visited the Jupiter inlet lighthouse and museum on 15th november and spent a very enjoyable couple of hours there, the 105 step climb to the top of the lighthouse is well worth it as the views from the top are breathtaking. The museum is also worth a visit as it has some very interesting exhibits on the history of the local area and its community. The guides who took us on the tour of the lighthouse and surrounding buildings were very knowledgable and informative. Great place to visit and well worth the entrance fee.

My husband and I visited this lighthouse in November of 2017. We did not have a reservation- just went to gift shop, purchased tickets and went on tour as it began in 5 minutes. If you have a longer wait before the tour starts, there is a small interesting museum to walk through. This tour requires a guide as the lighthouse is on federal property. The guide provides you with information about the history of the Jupiter lighthouse and the land around - interesting history. The part of the tour we enjoyed the most was climbing to the top of the lighthouse and walking around to see the scenery - just beautiful. The tour lasts about one hour and then you can spend time at the museum.

The Banyan tree is one of the ubiquitous trees of South Florida. The specimen they have here is, quite possibly, the largest one I've seen; perhaps not by mass but the sheer span. My best friend got married under its canopy last week, waterway as a backdrop, red lighthouse a great photo exit point.

Although I cannot speak to the lighthouse property itself, I'd like to return and better explore it.

My wife and I traveled about an hour to go to the lighthouse and it was worth it. We had a little trouble finding the pace and we arrived just when a tour was about to start. The tour guide was nice enough to wait while we got our tickets. The tours start on the hour and you must be guided through the park. The tour guide that we had has been doing tours for a number of years and she was very informative. There is more to see on the tour then just the lighthouse and we stayed for the whole presentation.
