We had a large group visiting Key West for the Swim Around Key West annual event. We had plenty of space for all 10 of us to sleep comfortably. The washer and dryer were very handy for sweaty athletes. They even provided laundry detergent, which we didn't think of!
Yes, the pots and pans are basically the typical "throw away" quality...but we used them to make spaghetti and were thankful they were there! We were also very thankful for Publix being just down the road from the unit. We made several quick trips throughout our stay once we saw how much we could use the kitchen!
The bedrooms were huge, the beds weren't to uncomfortable. Pillows were nice. I will say the fold out couch is not sturdy enough for adults, but the kids moved mattress to the floor and did fine. We did have to surrender our comforters for the kids....they only provided a sheet for the fold out and the office was closed when we checked in. No extra blankets. :(
The balconies (upstairs and down) were awesome to relax on after a long day of playing downtown or on the beach.
Parking was super crowded on a couple of the days, but we worked it out.
The elevator was being repaired, but the repair guy was super nice, we took the stairs a couple of times...not a big deal for our athletic group.
Yes, it's quite the walk to downtown. A couple brought bikes with them and that was perfect. The rest of us walked a few times...and then drove when it rained. Parking downtown is insane. We'll all bring bikes (and locks) next time.
The area was super safe. My teenager girls were comfortable walking around the area with no problems. The construction was still going on, but big deal. For the unit, it's worth the hassle.
My suggestion is this - if you have health issues to where you can't walk, can't do stairs or need easy access to downtown...skip it. Pay more to get closer to Duval. If you're super picky, you might want to move on. But I'm typically a Marriott-only girl and I would stay there again. Our group had an awesome time and the unit fit our needs perfectly :)

Had 7 friends stay in the St. Kitts for a long weekend. Rooms were great - there was a lot of space for all of us, with plenty of bathrooms (4), balconies, kitchen, etc. Never felt crowded the whole weekend. Some construction on US 1 made it a little difficult to get to the building (didn't hear the construction inside the rooms at all though) and the elevator broke down were the only downside. Had a nice pool and patio area, and a great view. Tried to walk to places downtown the first day, but gave that up. It's a little too far to walk. Weekend was too short! Wish we could go back already.
Our family stayed here while attending a family wedding in Key West. We had plenty of space to spread out. Four bathrooms made getting out the door a lot easier. The pool area was nice. We liked walking on the dock to look for fish. The place was fairly clean, but walking on the floor makes your feet black. A sign said it is due to the smoke from all the boat engines (probably also due to car traffic as it is on a busy road). I just wore my flipflops while walking around in the condo, but I wouldn't want a young child crawling around on those floors. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony every morning and evening.
