Just returned from Hyatt Beach House for a much needed family vacation. Brilliant scenery, polite professional staffing, perfect pool relaxation, excellent Tiki Hut refreshments, restful nights and a thoroughly clean property. The hustle and bustle of Duval/Front street and the airport are within a few minutes drive, without any of their noise. This resort is on the turquoise blue water and is a visual happiness everyday, all day. Whatever you wish to do can be arranged effortlessly by the front desk or Jim at the Tiki Hut....their years of experience and living on Key West will steer you clear of sub-standard adventure tour operators. ENJOY, it's your vacation.

This time share condo resort was beautiful, over looking the gulf. Even though it is outside the main area of Duvall St, it is only a few miles to all the action. The resort was very clean, and our unit was very spacious with all the conveniences of home. Will definitely be coming back again to this resort when I visit Key West.

Room Tip: The porch is beautiful to relax with a glass of wine or cup of coffee. There is a shuttle to the ma...

We own a week timeshare in March and have been at the beach house 5 times over the last 11 years. We love the craziness of downtown but to spend the afternoon in the pool or on the dock really is a wonderful way to relax. Locations both in shade and sun to give everyone what they need. The little tiki hut serves some drinks (wish it had a bit more snack food). The condos are spacious, spotless and lovely. The screened lanai is our favorite.

Very nice relaxing location right when you enter Key West. Good place to bring children away from Duval St. Zero-entry pool provided ample shade and sun for whatever you desired.

Room Tip: View slightly obstructed on lower levels. As others mentioned try for upper level in A or F. Eleva...

The Key West of nostalgia - quiet beaches and images of "Margaritaville" solitude - does not really exist anymore. The place has become a tourist mecca with all the commercial trappings that you would expect. But, when you are staying at the Hyatt Beach House Resort, you have the closest thing I can imagine of what it used to be like. The room's size and furnishings are superb. The suite is well insulated for sound and the kitchen is fully stocked for cooking (you really want to do that while you're on vacation???) as well as for margarita making! The building arrangement allows each suite to have a scenic view. Having a heated pool, hot tub, small beach, and Tiki bar all within reach of each other allows you to spend hours relaxing on site. The only down-side is the close proximity to US Route 1 which seems to have traffic flowing 22 hours a day. While not overly distracting you will hear motors racing and sirens wailing throughout your day.

Room Tip: 3rd floor balconies have superior views, especially if in buildings "A" or "F"

So when traveling to Key West I always try and stay off Duval because to enjoy the island atmosphere, one needs to relax away from the hustle and bustle. I find myself down there every night, but during the day one needs a nice beach. That is where this resort starts. A private beach, something quite rare on Key West. The Beach goes right into the pool area, which is again very relaxing. Ask for buildings A or F, but do not be disappointed with the others(we stayed in B12 and B23). Also ask for the third level, as the view is better. I traveled with my in-laws and we had two couple and two singles in the party. We ended up getting two units and each couple had the suite, while each single stayed in the guest queen room. The room isn't huge, but are adequate. The kitchens worked well for breakfasts, lunches, and one dinner. The most underrated part of the place is the screened in porch. I don't know if either party actually closed the patio doors at night, because you didn't worry about critters. The master suite is huge, nice whirlpool and shower. This is my second time to Key West and the next time I come, I plan on returning. I would highly recommend this place. Message me if you have any further questions.

Room Tip: Asked for Building A or F, also ask for the 3rd floor. The lush vegetation in the courtyard can at t...

The Beach House Resort is a well designed property. The buildings and landscaping provide a quiet area by the pool and faux beach. On days when it is too windy to enjoy being out on the water or at a beach, this is the perfect place to hang out. You need a hangout away from the crowds that pour into Key West when the cruise ships dock. When staying in Key West, it is a good idea to check the cruise ship schedule and plan your time in town accordingly.

This resort is on the main road when you first reach Key West. The intersection is busy at times. You occasionally hear planes taking off from the airport, emergency vehicles passing by and dogs barking at the shelter near by.

The units are very spacious. They have well equipped kitchens and also include washers and dryers. There is no restaurant at this location, the Tiki bar by the pool closes around 6PM. You can walk next door to the Marriott for a restaurant and bar.

This is a timeshare resort. You can book a stay the same as any hotel. You do not get the daily housekeeping you get at a hotel. We found a great deal buying a partial week from a seller that had to change plans at the last minute.

I found parking a little tricky, it is a little tight. That made it even more attractive to use the $5.00 shuttle service to go into town. Also a good idea to use it if you are planning on enjoying the bar scene.
