It has been really cozy and elegant room experience. The style is great ad well the facilities. A self card by the glass wine tasting room is a unique feature that you can find only here in KW.
Only remarkable aspect is that they do not allow children even if they are 10 years old and educated. Most Europeans don't like this! Couples could be more then welcome anyway even if some well appointed kids are around the pool. Beyond this we definitively recommend this place to B&B lovers.

Thank you for your review! The issue with 16 and older, is more of insurance rather preference. We are 18 and older as are most Inns. While some children may be well behaved, when it comes to vacations and pools, this is most often not the case.

My Partner and I spent 6 wonderfull nights at the Gardens Hotel in November 2010. The room was very clean, service was perfect, breakfast were awesome, the staf was very professionel and freindly.

The Gardens outback with the outsite pool and outsite bar were magical. We will go back for sure.

Thank you all for the ''magnifique'' stay!!!

This was our first trip to Key West and we were unsure as to what we would find. We researched Trip Advisor and were not disappointed.
We were greeted, or better yet welcomed, by "Tippy". She not only described the Hotel but also gave us an idea of the Key West lifestyle.
The Gardens Hotel is a beautifully appointed, clean, neat Oasis that is located one block from Duval Street and approximately mid way across the island.
The price point at the Gardens Hotel is fair for the quality of accomodations and service you receive. Breakfast, wine bar, pool bar and staff all add up to a very enjoyable and relaxing stay.
Without resevation I highly reccommend this property

Our first time in Key West and were we ever glad we chose The Gardens. In addition to being an oasis in the middle of an active city, the staff couldn't have been more helpful in getting us to the right restaurants, on the right boat for kayaking/snorkeling, to the right nightclub, etc. According to the owner, their informal motto is "You don't have to know a thing when you arrive here" and that proved absolutely true for us.

With just seventeen rooms and an acre of land the atmosphere is serene. Weekend entertainment livens things up, especially on Sunday jazz night, a local favorite. The pool area is lovely and the traditional bar, wine bar and breakfasts are all a plus. If you're looking for a hopping hotel and boisterous guests I would say the Gardens may not be for you, but remember Duval Street is only a block away.

We stayed in the Eyebrow Cottage, which was delightful; I didn't get a look at the standard rooms but talked to some repeat guests who said all were very nice.

The Gardens is pricey, make no mistake, but this is a case where you really are getting something for your money. If we return to Key West (as we hope to do!) we'll certainly try to book there again.

Amazing, tranquil setting in the heart of Key West. Attentive staff, unique premises, sanctuary.
We already scheduled our return trip next year.

Room Tip: Many rooms to choose from depending on what you prefer. ALL rooms are in a serene setting.
