We know the keys pretty well and have stayed in various places over the years. This one is really special. It's an old motel/hotel, completely refurbished and really, reimagined. A place to totally kick back, amazing service, totally responsive, both before you arrive and afterwards. We had the Manatee room, overlooking the water and the bar, a mini suite, quiet and well appointed. Good collection of movies to borrow and an amazing library in the room probably 100 books? Good linens, great shower, tile floors, continental breakfast included and every sort of amenity is available, snorkeling ( I wouldn't bother to do it right there, not worth it) but they will connect you with diving/snorkeling guides, fishing, free bikes, really a unique and lovely place

Room Tip: if you can spring for the difference, the two rooms on the water, Manatee and one other, are well wo...

We had intended to stay here for one night, however we loved it so much that we decided to stay another night.

This place is perfect if what you are looking for is tranquilty in a beautiful setting.

The staff are very helpful and accommodating. The rooms are immaculate and you can tell that there is attention to detail. The breakfast is the best !

The price is very reasonable when you consider what you are getting for your money. This place is a little slice of heaven and anyone coming down to the keys should do a stop here!

Guests are encouraged to make use of the kayaks, bikes and snorkel gear which come at no extra cost. We were so committed to relaxing though that we did not make use of these. The staff were very helpful in arranging massages for us though!

If I had to be really really fussy and was forced to say one thing which wasn't quite up to scratch, I would say say the lack of variety on the lunch menu. But this is only if I was forced to say something. The lunch menu has pannins, salads and pizzas however there are places to eat nearby so this really is not a problem at all.

This is one of the nicest and calmest places I have ever stayed.

Thumbs up all round.

My wife and I stayed at casa morada for a couple of days as a baby free retreat. The rooms were clean and well kept. The location is amazing, right on the gulf of Mexico surrounded by mangrove and palm trees with a very lux, secluded vibe. The pool area is great. Lots of chez lounges set up around the pool and a covered bar area setup with tables, games etc the staff could not have been more gracious or helpful. Reservations, wine brought to the room, suggestions on local activities etc.
We had a really relaxing couple of days here and will definitely be back next year!

This place is so beautiful and is located in a very pretty bay. The gardens and the pool/beach area are very private and well done. Great service all the way and the beach bar serves very nice cocktails and salads.
I stayed in 10 places during my holidays in Florida and this one was one of the best.

We needed to get away from the city and wanted something special. Although we always take our dogs on our trips this time we went without them. We got a new room than usual and it was great. We went during the week, instead of weekend, and we practically were the only ones in the place. The food was amazing. It's so surprising they can provide that quality in such a small resort.

The pool is always perfect and staff out there is on point. Overall, the best place to stay in the keys. Especially with no kids. It's quiet, secluded and local. Thanks Casa Morada.
