After 27 years of visiting this area and staying in numerous resorts, this is the worst my family has ever experienced. Thin walls, no security, must walk across a 4 lane busy highway to get from one part to another of the resort. Absolutely would never return nor would I ever recommend this place. Orlando/Kissimmee have many beautiful places to stay, this is NOT one of them. Cheap bed linens, old furniture and appliances, poorly furnished and poorly decorated. Just wore out. Needs new staff, fencing and completely overhauled.

Room tip: To get a good room drive down the road to another place

We spent 5 nights at this resort and our experience was not great. Here goes:
-location: depending on traffic, it is a 15 min drive from Disney and 25 min drive from universal.

-customer service: very slow check-in process, not very friendly staff at the front desk, and if you don't ask specifically about maps/Internet no one bothers to give out any information. Also, the resort is pretty large so our room for instance was across the street from the main lobby.

-cleanliness: rooms are clean. Bathrooms are clean. But please keep in mind that this place doesn't offer daily room cleaning. I didn't know that initially. Also, they will not restock supplies (soap/shampoo) unless you ask, and even then the service can be very slow. In addition, while the toilet was clean, it did get clogged up twice during our stay and yeah it took a while to get someone to fix that.

Overall, I was not impressed with the service and would not stay there again.

We used a one week groupon at this resort, and upon arrival it looks like a really nice place to take your family, and by using the resort stay voucher from groupon it looked to be a great deal for a family Disney trip.

However we where put in a suite at the far end of the resort beside the maintenance shop. It had lumps in the carpet, cracked grouting on the bath tubs, a microwave that hissed and sputtered, an ice machine that didn't work or wasn't hooked up. Burnt out lights, receptacle covers that didn't cover the receptacle holes completely, no wifi except at the pools. This suite looks like where you would put the new hire maintenance staff to work on until they developed some skills. Cosmetically the suite looks okay at first glance, but when you start really looking at the suite we had its not nice. Further insult is that there was really nice looking suites closer to the lobby and such but we where staying in the cheap suites.

Plus they where renovating around us installing underground piping, and a large dumpster in the parking lot was filled with garbage every day while we where there. NICE

I could only recommend someone staying there if you new exactly where you where staying before arrival. We where told we where in the 2 bedroom suites and that it is the 3 bedroom suites that are the new ones by the lobby. We are a family of five and a three bedroom suite would have been great but where never offered the 3 bedroom units. It was as if they looked at the groupon we where using and decided that we where going to be put in there worst suites because of the deal we had with groupon.

Room tip: Ask to be in the units by the lobby it has the nicest pool and hot tub.

Come on folks, this is one of the best places to stay out there. Every single hotel or resort can have disgusting rooms. Since this place has so many suites available, they clearly haven't renovated all of them.

When my boyfriend and I first arrived the first room they put us in wasn't cleaned. So, what did we do? We asked for another, and made sure it was of a better quality. Without hesitation they put us in a GORGEOUS room. It's nicer then the condo that we live in at home! The furniture isn't modern but it's quaint and comfortable. The bed is wonderful since it's in it's own bedroom separate from the living room and kitchen. The bathroom? Beautiful. Huge whirpool tube, and yes after reading the reviews on here before coming I stood in the tub and checked for mold on the shower head. None.

Bottom line? Definitely a great place to stay. Close to the Theme parks. Not as many good restaurants available as downtown Orlando. (We stayed there one week prior), but the room is classy.

Check your room before you accept it, and if you don't like it, they'll move you no problem. No reason to hate on this property.

We were attacked New Years Day in the parking lot because we dared to park in a space next to their car. 3 young Hispanic males, 2 Hispanic females attacked a middle age white couple unprovoked and the attackers were referred to as VICTIMS by the head of security. We feared for our safety due to security managers attitude and behaviors so we left before our reservation were complete. Prior to leaving we attempted to speak with property manager but were blocked by the same head of security. This is not a safe resort nor does the staff care. In addition to security issues this is one of the resorts that place none owner guests in the poorest quality facilities. However the upper end quality shares the same poor design. The walls are thin, the noise is loud and the clientele is obviously questionable. This facility does not have any security, the entire area is open to a main road with units spread out on both sides of the busy road. Obviously thugs hanging in the parking lot is acceptable. Our first visit is definitely our last. The quality of this facility falls well below the average for this area. Word of warning, don't bother calling the Osceola deputies, they could care less about the truth or your safety.

Room tip: Go elsewhere for you safety.
