First of all, over all I would recommend this property. It was clean, great location, easy check in, on site management, takes credit cards, pool hot tub. On the negative side, was, lower quality linens, dated indoor furniture, no spices or cleaning products, and the mattresses in two of the bedrooms were worn out and poorer quality. But they had three HD Tvs and an older but OK TV. The furniture on the Patio was good, along with a great ocean view. I want to give it it a better rating than average but ......

Stayed here between 29th sept and 13th oct 2009, have to agree with previous posts that this is a terrific condo, great location, large, plenty of storage space, great kitchen, fantastic view, large bedrooms with comfy beds, and incredibly quiet, the management at surf song are very helpful, balcony is great and was in the shade most of the day, which was very good because when we stayed there the area was experiencing record october temperatures, the only gripe i have is the internet access, the room description states high speed internet access, it is a wired connection and for the life of me i could not get a connection at all, the modem detected that my laptop was connected to it but would not allow access to the internet, spoke to the sunhost people who were very helpful and allowed us to connect to their wireless, it was very nice of them to offer but this was not ideal as the signal was weak and the connection kept dropping out, we had an 18 yr old with us who wanted to go on facebook, twitter msn etc to keep in touch with her friends back home and moaned a lot when connection was lost, i would like go back to this room again next year, but only if the owner addresses the internet issue to stop me getting sore ears :)

We just got back from staying in Condo 301. This was the best privately owned condo I've stayed at ever. The bedrooms were nice sized with plenty of closet and drawer storage. The bathrooms were perfect for our family of four. The master bath has a huge shower with plenty of space for two. A spacious and well equipped kitchen met all of our cooking and eating needs. There were even plenty of wine glasses and a cork screw for those evenings when I needed to have a glass or two out on the huge balcony watching the sun go down. The property was very calm and easy going overall. The only disturbance we experienced was next door at the Surf Song where a man was doing some kind of construction on one of the units. Thankfully it wasn't extremely early and he didn't work late. The lawn guys show up early however and if you want to sleep in that particular morning, keep the windows and doors closed. My husband and I didn't get great rest due to the less than comfortable mattress in the master bedroom. I left the suggestion with the management to have it replaced. We had plenty of room to spread out when we were winding down, watching tv or whatnot. When it was time to swim in the pool, there were some things my son could use in the entry closet such as a pair of flippers and some goggles. The rules for the pool include no floats or tubes, but he was just as pleased to use what was provided. Some beach chairs in the closet were broken, but we didn't use them anyway. The shops and restaurants at John's Pass were so close you "could" walk, but the construction and the traffic infront of the condo deemed somewhat risky. Especially with children. Treasure Island is right over the causeway which provides a pleasant pallet of art deco architecture.

We were very pleased with our stay and would love to come back.

Our family of five just stayed in condo 301 in May 08. It was exactly what we were looking for - good location, large, clean, bright, huge balcony overlooking the beach, beautifully furnished, washer/drier, etc. The pool is small but very clean and the kids loved it. I was a little nervous about the balcony because the horizontal railings made them perfect for climbing, but I just made sure the kids were never left unsupervised. We would definitely go back again!

We just returned from our first stay at Maderia Beach and the Crimson. What a wonderful experience. The Crimson 301 condo is beautiful and has everything you need - including chairs for the beach which you can walk to in 3 minutes right out your door. This condo is very large with full kitchen and a huge master bedroom and bath. Second bedroom is good size too with a full bath right next to it. Lots of tables/chairs on the balcony. The pool is small but with such a gorgeous beach right there - we never used it. Super location with John's Pass across the street. The Hut is a great place for beer and wings. If you have a car - we strongly recommend visiting THE CADDY which is about a 5-8 minute drive. Great breakfasts on the beach and when your are done you can get chairs/umbrellas from them (no charge - just tip the guy who sets it all up for you on the beach). THE CADDY has a full bar and restaurant so an afternoon of sun, ocean and cocktails is the life. We also booked through Sunhost and they were great making it all easy and answering all questions. The office is right next door and they are there 7 days a week to help you with just about anything (Thanks Rema, Sandy and Larry).

this was our fifth stay at Crimson and it just seems to get better. We always have room 302 which is a 2bed/2bath directly overlooking the Gulf. It has a large balcony with very comfortable chairs, somuch so that sometimes I have to be prised out of them to visit the beach. The unit is well furnished as are all the ones that I have visited.
We do tend to eat in quite a bit and all the kitchen facilities are very good.
I do think that the master bedroom could be provided with telephones since the bed is so big that you can easily lose your partner!
The pool is a bit on the small size but the site does have a hot tub.
Site office staffand maintainance are always very helpful.
Have already reserved our place for 2008.

We just left the Crimson, Madeira Beach. We were very happy when we arrived and saw that the condo we had rented online was everything that was promised. For the $, you can't beat this place. Our unit was large, I think over 1500 sq ft. and very nice inside. It was obvious the owners take very good care of the unit. We could walk to everything. Rented from SunHost company, located right next door. It was nice to have the rental company close by if we had questions or needed anything. Their office even has a guest computer that we used to check email and print our boarding passes - No charge!
The beaches around Madeira area are great, you could walk for miles.
