Owner description: The spirited Cuban neighborhood of Miami where the sights, sounds and smells are intoxicating. Be sure to sample a traditional Cuban meal or grab a quick sandwich cubano and some empanadas at any of the walk up counters.

“Latin quarters”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 March 2012

This area, although, unique in the USA, is no longer Little Havana, as you will find almost no Cubans there. The area is trashy and makes you feel you are somwhere in Central America.

“If you have an afternoon go!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 March 2012

There is nothing really bad I can say about this place except after dark it does get a little dangerous. A lot of good restaurants, no really known tourist destinations you just get to see where the major Cuban population is. Spanish is VERY helpful most of the people in the good restaurants speak English but the overall population does not speak English or very little. Everyone is pretty polite so if you have an afternoon free go but like I said after dark the neighborhood can be a little dangerous!

“Don't”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 March 2012

They are trying to get it together for tourist visits. As of March 2012 not even close. There is nothing there to do. Don't believe the hype about cigar rolling and dominos. It will disappoint.

“Don't visit Miami and not learn something!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 March 2012

This is a mandatory learning experience. Why is Miami the great city it is? Because of the people who came from Cuba.......and I'm not even Cuban!

“Interesting neighborhood.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 February 2012

It has some charm, being the largest Cuban community in the US. But its not really an area you can walk around. Its main artery is SW 8 or calle ocho. This will run the whole length of Little Havana, but again large busy street. I wouldn't recommend to someone who is out of town. Yes if you want to have dinner or lunch here, try Versailles for food!
