Bring earplugs!

Hotel's Favourite
This hotel is located between the Miami River and a very busy highway... constant honking and revving of motorcycles...and close enough to the airport that there are low-flying planes a few times an hour. They're also doing construction nearby and right at 0700, the jackhammers started. That being said, be sure to bring earplugs and/or a white noise machine. The room was clean and the beds were super comfortable. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was pretty decent, some hot and cold choices. We just needed to stay here for the night before our cruise and found it perfectly suited for us. My only negative was check in...they had no rooms available until 3pm and happily agreed to keep our suitcases so we could wander, but there were A LOT of people that waited for rooms. I would definitely stay here again.

After dithering about where to stay in Miami, we decided on this hotel due to location -- evenly located between Little Havana and the beaches of Miami Beach, which were the areas we hoped to visit. Check in was easy, friendly staff. Valet parking, which I had been worried about, was actually very easy. Friendly valets, our car was always ready when we needed it. Yes, we tipped them because they're doing a tough job. Metromover station is right there, and the Riverwalk is just outside the hotel's breakfast room; I took a walk in the morning and the evening to enjoy the view and sounds of the river.

The room was fine, we had a suite as we needed room for 5 to sleep. The floors are solid stone/tile, so there's a 'cold' feeling to the space. We had a corner room, with a view of the city (would have preferred the river view on the other side of the hotel, but can't be picky when you need a specific room type). The elevators are slow and noisy. We actually took the stairs a couple times, despite being on the 8th floor.

As others have noted, there's a lot of toast at breakfast! But there was also a hot pan with fried eggs, or cheese omelet, and sausage, yogurt in the fridge one morning, oranges, juices/milk, cold cereal, and of course coffee/hot water. It was enough to get us fueled up for the morning.

The pool is unheated, but it was clean and made for a nice swim after an afternoon at the beach. No hot tub/spa though.

For the price, for our specific needs, we were glad we picked this hotel.

Room tip: Pool is unheated. Parking is valet and pricey but reliable.

Located next to 2 MetroMover stations and car rental from Hertz and Avis, this hotel is in a very good location. We had a room on 12th floor with harbor view and could see manatees most of the time!
This used to be a Clarion hotel, but it has been severely downgraded: there is no longer a bar, restaurant or anything but the basics in terms of facilities and amenities. Rooms have different sizes. The one we got was huge. Staff recognized me as member but wouldn’t let my husband check-in without me. I don’t believe they are LGBT unfriendly- it was more about procedures getting in way of delivering service. Parking is $35.
Good sleep quality, clean, one of two elevators out of order during our stay, internet speed very unreliable. Ice is only on 7th floor! But hey… they have manatees.

Room tip: Go for a higher floor with harbor view. Windows are single glazed.

As a Black British solo traveler for my birthday trip, I really enjoyed my stay, highly recommended. Polite, helpful and friendly staff. Great breakfast choices. Thank you for the free upgrade to a Business' room with a queen bed when i arrived. The value of white fresh comfortable cotton bathrobes, sheets and towels everyday. The free wifi, flat-screen TVs, and even high-end soap/toiletries was a excellent touch too. There was no hidden or extra costs, i was glad there is an ATM in the reception area to withdraw cash and they also sell a few variety of snacks/refreshments. The hotel and the hotel room was affordable but great quality and very crisp, clean/tidy, nice and spacious. The location is just perfect for a walk around the city Centre and a great number of bars with great choice of Rnb/reggaeton/dancehall/pop music in Brickell. I had a great view and its quiet too. There is a pool near to reception outside at the back of the breakfast hall. I will be brining my family over from the uk to stay in your hotel in Miami.

Terrible service, called front desk for help phone rang for 10 minutes while 3 girls were standing right next to phone chatting and laughing while looking at cell phones. Requested a chair so I could sit while watching football game in my room. Was told that no chair comes with my room and there was no extra chair anywhere in the building. "Comfort" Inn 😆. Also had terrible view out window of block wall and trash. You would think that they could do better for $200 per night.
