Great location, nice surroundings, quiet area, close to town, perfect for business and vacation.

A great hotel with a strong level of service. Staff helpful and observant. Rooms large, even the standrad ones. Balcony on the backside with morning sunrise. Nice pool area with a great view.
It was just close to a perfect hotel experience.

Brekfast was good, but not really up to what it could have been. Staff really tops but food selection not what you should expect. Buffe brekfast was my choice, overpriced in view of what you got.
Pool cafe service needs in some parts more attention, not really up to full standard in terms of speed, price and service level.
Otherwise, try to stay here, you will definately have a good experience.

Room Tip: Backside rooms good enough and better priced. Sunrise from the balcony was just perfect. Front side with afternoon sun probably to hot anyhow.

My 22-year old son decided to take a year off after undergrad before he heads off to grad school so we decided to travel to a new place every month until school starts. Miami was an obvious choice to escape the Chicago winter weather. This hotel was great. The staff were attentive and the property is top-notch. The room was large with nice finishing touches. Miami's beaches were not what I remembered them to be, but the weather was certainly a welcomed change from the Chicago wind.

Expensive but well worth it if you are looking for a luxury haven in the Miami city jungle. Inclusive a dolphine family coming to visit at breakfast!

This is simply an excellent hotel for business or pleasure. I've stayed here four times, three times for business and once for a good friend's wedding. The construction/design, amenities, and most impressively, service, are all top notch.

Pros:
* Fantastic service. Gracious and low-key, but clearly willing to help with whatever you can dream up. My personal experience was excellent -- my friend who was married here had over-the-top service. The entire staff knew him (they most have taken a picture of him and distributed it) and he was addressed by name everywhere he went.
* Fantastic design aesthetic. It is the typical MO Asian theme, but sleekly done and contemporary. The hotel is very new, and the design feels like it (although the service has the polish of an older venue).
* Very nice sized rooms, and it appears that most (all?) have private outdoor space.
* The restaurant and pool are both fantastic. Service, again, was very good, and I found the sushi to be top notch. Drinks were also very good.
* The food on their events floor was very good, both for business conferences and the wedding.
* As a wedding venue, it was superb. The staff was excellent, the setting was great, and the large outdoor terrace was put to good use for a superb scotch and cigar bar.
* I was also impressed with their use of the beach area for a welcome dinner.

Cons
* Location, sort of. It is a prime business location on Brickell Key. However, it is a long way from South Beach, so if that is your scene, choose elsewhere.
* While they do their "beach" area well, the reality is that you can't get into the water from the beach. It is really just a sandy area on top of a concrete sea wall. Excellent execution of the concept, but the concept has the inherent limitation of not providing access to the water. Not sure you'd want to get in the water right there anyways, as it is right at the mouth of the river and in the middle of a relatively busy boating thoroughfare.

I've stayed at this MO several times and love the location. I usually spend more time using the facilities (spa, pool, restaurants) when I stay here. This area is growing...we were able to walk to some great restaurants right over the bridge...the nightlife is getting popular as well. It's a nice change from South Beach!
