“Great location, spectacular view from Bay side rooms”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 January 2012

We stayed for a week in a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo with a spectacular view of Biscayne Bay, palm trees and sailboats. Great location just steps from lively Coco Walk with its many nice shops and restaurants. The valet parking is very convenient and the service overall is courteous and efficient. The pool, hot tub and grounds are lovely and quiet in spite of their close location to a very busy (and noisy at night) road. The condo itself is rather small yet very nicely appointed with comfortable beds, high end linens and 2 flat screen TV's. The master bedroom has a huge walk-in closet with a safe. The unit also has a washer and dryer. The kitchen has the bare minimum utensils so don't plan on cooking anything elaborate. Atchana's restaurant off the lobby has nice Thai and western food with a limited menu. There is a great "Fresh Market" within walking distance. Our only complaint was the wifi which at best had a very low signal. The front desk was aware of the problem and said they were working on it. Overall, we would highly recommend the Mutiny Hotel.

I have stayed at the Mutiney during sailing regattas for the past 5 years.
Perfect location, well maintained, beaurtiful suite style rooms with kitchen/living room
along with washer dryer....
Reasonably priced, in house roomservice / restaurant and nicely
appointed pool area - all facing Biscayne Bay and over looking a park.
Highly recommend.

We stayed here for a few days in April before heading up to Orlando. This hotel was lovely we stayed in a suite which meant we had two bedrooms one with two single beds and one with a king size bed with an added walk in wardrobe. The sofa in the living area pulled out into a double bed which meant that it slept the five of us very comfortably. The balcony was just perfect it reached the full width of the suite which meant that you could sit out and watch the sunset and sunrise and it was overlooking the Marina. The taxis would pull up front and take you where bayside shopping centre was about 10 minutes in a taxi which had some lovely shops offering some boat trips to see some amazing house including celebrities. There was a cinema and restaurant complex about a 5 minute walk this included some chain restaurants like Chilli's, The Cheesecake Factory and Johnny Rockets. I will definitely be back next time we are in Miami.

The Mutiny was lovely...spacious suites, wonderful staff and a very good Thai restaurant hidden in the lobby...the location puts you minutes to Coconut Grove and an easy walk to a FreshMart grocery store that also happens to have a really decent wine selection.

Speaking of wine, we accidentally spilled some and the hotel was very gracious about it...Just as you would be to a guest in your home.

Overall, this is a very decent place to stay and I would recommned it to a friend or family memeber without hesitation.

Room Tip: We had a lovely view over the garbage area (:>) but considering the rate we paid, we weren't...

You are in Coconut Grove, a very nice section of Miami. Less than 3 miles from the University of Miami and across the street from the marina. Three blocks away from the heart of Coconut Grove.
The rooms are very big. They are clean and functional. The staff is pleasant.
Worth it.

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Few destinations can boast such a distinctive and colorful character as Coconut Grove. In the heart of this tropical paradise sits The Mutiny Hotel, a luxurious all-suite property neighboring the pristine waters of Biscayne Bay. A bright swatch of coral set against the intensely blue South Florida sky, the Mutiny's 12-story tower epitomizes the South Florida style; vibrant colors compliment chic accommodations elegantly decorated in a modern-lavish motif. Long a playground for the elite, The Grove - as it is known by locals - is also a second home to many celebrities, artists, and jetsetters. Its entertainment and shopping district reflects the quirky-yet-sophisticated nature of its residents, and visitors can find everything from haute couture to haughty kitsch in the many shops at CocoWalk, steps from The Mutiny's front door. After all, where else can you see stars in broad daylight, dance through an island festival, and enjoy dinner at a funky cafe? Only at The Mutiny. ... more   less
