Went there last labor day weekend to visit Miami. The check-in is to be done in an adjacent hotel, which looks terrible. The receptionist does not speak english very well and upon check-in, they'd charge you $100 deposit. This wasn't disclosed at all, but since we wanted to have a good time, we let them do that.

Coming inside the hotel, you have to buzz in in what sort of looks like a dilapidated building from the outside. Nothing like the images from the website. The rooms are very basic with red walls but the sheets are just plain ugly and there is a pungent smell all over the hotel and especially in the rooms. Walls are pretty thin so you could hear noises either from other rooms or from ghosts, I dunno, not ideal for relaxing.

While the beaches are just a few steps away, I would think other hotels are definitely a lot better. I was also charged an additional $50 upon check-out without them informing me and now they wouldn't reverse the charge. Very unprofessional. My advice: stay away from this hotel and find a better deal elsewhere.

The price and location were right but that's where the pleasantries end. There seemed to be sand everywhere, there weren't any complimentary toiletries and we never had enough towels. At one point we were even given bath mats for towels! If you don't plan on spending a lot of time in your hotel and want to be close to the beach then this is your place- but if you want a little luxury then stear clear.

This hotel is in a great location right on the beach! You literally walk outside and the beach is there. The price is great and includes a basic continental breakfast so that's an added perk. The bed and pillows were so comfortable...I had the best night sleep in a really long time. On the downside, the towels were really dirty and we used our own beach towels instead. I would definitely stay here again.

It´s right in front of the beach, but not near the center of miami beach, you`ll need a car or taxi to move. There are a few restaurants near it, and they offered a basic breakfast.
The rooms were ok, the bathroom looked new, the beds clean and confortable. it was ok. Our room was at the bottom and we heard an angine running all night long which was pretty anoying, so make sure you get a better location.

Lets face it...if you are going to Miami to chill out, you are not going to stay in the hotel. All you need is a room to sleep in. This is exactly why you should rent this hotel. Whats the point in paying a lot for a lavish hotel when you are going to be outside anyways over the day?? The hotel itself doesn't look awesome from outside, but the rooms are nice, fairly clean and the beds comfortable in the night. Breakfast just contains tea/coffee and microwavable danishes - not so great. It's kinda far from the place to be (South Beach), so you need to arrange for some transportation (we chose bikes). North beach is nice and quaint too if you just wanna lie down. There's wireless in the common breakfast area, and if you are lucky in your room too! I would recommend this one!

nice spot right by the beach, although about 10-15 min drive (20 min bus ride) to the hip South Beach district.. ok for that price (just ok), breakfast served in a hotel right next door on a nice sunny terrace but consists merely of coffee/tea and packed danishes, rooms small but clean.

parking off street, free between 6pm and 8am, if you insert money the night before it will count toward the next morning, eg if you pay for 2 hours at 5pm it will last till 9am, so no need to get up early ;)
