After returning from a cruise, a group of us stayed at this hotel for two nights. The upside of our stay was enjoying the lobby bar and its patrons each afternoon and evening. The staff were very helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous. The hotel location to the beach was wonderful and the neighborhood was very lively. The downside was our room being too cramped and little lighting. It was difficult to sleep with the loud talking and music and the constant restroom door-slamming in the hallway. Overall, the pluses outweighed the minuses and we had a good time at this hotel.

I am glad to hear that you and your friends enjoyed your stat stay us after your cruise. We place a lot of value on our location and are pleased that you took full advantage of this great hotel feature. Our rooms are Boutique style and are therefore viewed as smaller rooms, but what we lack in size we make up with Amenities. From free wifi to free airport shuttle and free drinks during happy hour. Some of our rooms are quieter than others and we are always happy to go beyond our guest expectations to meet their needs, including placing them in a quieter room. Thank you for your review and we look forward to having you stay with us again soon.

My wife and I were flying out of the country, but had a passport issue. So, we were stuck in Miami for 4 nights and had to book a hotel quickly from the airport. This is tough to do in Miami since most hotels are boutiques and can be hit or miss.

We booked this hotel because of its location to south beach, as well as its price. We weren't looking to spend over 200 a night and this place came in at 170.

The bar looks nice, but the hallways to the rooms look like a really old apartment building. The rooms are extremely small, with not much room to maneuver. Not bad if all you are doing is crashing on a bed, but if you're looking for room to move. This isn't it.

Finally, do not stay in room 201 if you book here. It is right above the bar and the bass pounds through the floor. If you are looking to sleep at all, this is not the room. However, they kindly moved us and we couldn't here a peep from room 217.

One more thing, we did see a dead cockroach in the hallway.

I am sorry to hear about your passport issue. I understand that you were already frustrated upon arrival. This is an unexpected issue and can be costly in many ways. I understand our hotel did not meet your expectation but we disclose a lot of information on our website. We describe the decor, sizes, and ambiance. We hope that you will reconsider and stay with us again in the future where your situation is better planned. I am glad to hear the staff moved you to a quieter room upon your request. It goes to show that we do everything possible to make your stay a great one. With regard to the cockroach you saw in the hallway, it looks as though are times when they come from outside but our staff works diligently to remove them upon sighting. We are always offering competitive pricing for hotel guests and I hope that you will come back and give us another chance.

It's funny when you read such differing review you wonder if people stayed at the same place. I found the staff. very helpful.Excellent location: two. blocks from the beach., airport shuttle, free beach towels, free drinks and clean rooms for less than a hundred bucks a nigh. It's not the. Ritz, but. it's great for the price. My only complaint IA that the room lighting could be brighter

Yes, there are some bad reviews but most of those situations are unique. We are confident that we provide amazing service to our guest. Your review is proof that we do have amazing service. Our location is central to so many things to do in Miami Beach. It gives you the opportunity to see everything Miami Beach has to offer. In addition, we offer free amenities that many other hotels do not even think of offering like our happy hour. I hope you enjoyed all these amenities during your stay.

We stayed here for one night and could not have chosen better, especially on a budget. The room was functional and clean - all we wanted for a one night stay. It was a bit noisy at night but, he'll, you are on South Beach.

Nice deal for the room on priceline.com. Was there for an impromtu trip to use the airport.
Clean rooms but on 3rd floor very hot, no elevator, uncomfortably warm, needs optional brighter lighting (in rooms) and unable to relax in room upon arrival. Had not been cooled to anticipate 3 pm check in..
Later that evening, as we went downstairs to spend some money AND redeem our FREE DRINK COUPONS, (Like on FB), the barmaid (Wednesday Jan. 18th), was VERY rude to women customers, incompetent and should not be representing the front end of such a fine hotel. She would be better utilized perhaps in a cleaning position, or not at all. I took my money and my party elsewhere. Had to go to the person in charge 4X to get our drink coupons honored. Other patrons had observed and commented on this issue as well.
Desk staff is pleasant and helpful, cleaning personal & valet parking good service too.

Room Tip: No elevator, so request 1st floor. Rooms are small, as to be expected on Miami Beach, so pack light. Dress up or down. Be prepared for beach nudity. Not a place for children, obviously. Don't count on good friendly bar service if you are a female and the bartender is female
