This is my third time here! It looks just like a Liquor Shop from outside, GO INSIDE! Service is great, but food is the best! Try DESAYUNO CENTROAMERICANO if you are really hungry! Super clean and friendly!

Oh mannnnnnnnnn! I have been following Chef Reuben for a long time now and his Instagram page featuring his creative daily specials was actually one of the reasons I started my food page. His pictures are my food porn guilty pleasure! I finally went with my boyfriend and good friend during the week for lunch to try a steak sandwich special he had posted about that morning and let me tell you, I was far far from disappointed. This amazing restaurant is located near the Miami Airport and is within a liquor store, feeling like your stereotypical cuban cafeteria with very few tables and mostly counter dining. The place was pretty busy but we didn't have to wait at all, sitting together at the counter.

My friend and I ordered the daily special which that day was Mojo marinated steak sandwich on a soft hoagie with home made chipotle, refried beans, panko crusted onion rings with BBQ sauce, mashed roasted garlic and fried queso blanco $12.99. It was literally INSANE! Chef Reuben really takes the time to focus on each ingredient he incorporates and its well worth it because it really was the perfect symphony of flavor. I can't rave enough about how good it was and I felt that for the price it was well worth it. My boyfriend decided to try the Dr. Pepper Bourbon Glazed Pepper Jack Cheeseburger $12.99 which he said was the best burger he had ever had. I tried a bite and might have to agree with him! I highly recommend this must try spot to all Miami locals who find themselves in the area and hungry for something beyond fulfilling or even to tourist who want to experience the best of Cuban Cuisine delivered in true Miami style!

Ok, it's a little sketchy to walk to, but the food, prices, service, and ambiance is worth it.

We stayed at an EAST hotel airport (Hyatt Airport East) and had to walk about half to 3/4 mile under an expressway and on a very busy road, but we loved it so much we did it again on our second night. Both experiences were extremely pleasant, everyone there seemed to be in a great mood (the servers are busy, but they are always smiling).

Portions are huge, food is fantastic!

I frequent this place a lot. I come here regularly for the string Cuban coffee. It’s filled during the day with lots of people in the aviation industry.
The dish I have had most often is the breaded chicken steak. It’s simple and it’s filling. The Cuban breakfast I like also the rice and beans are great. I also like the friendly wait staff especially in the morning. One in particular is a very nice woman from Medellin Columbia. It’s a cafe on one side with a complete liquor store as well. Everyone I take here enjoys the food very much .
