Owner description: Located in Beautiful New Smyrna Beach, a 15 minute drive from Daytona Beach and 55 from Orlando. The Pastime is a large 100 foot long fully air-conditioned fishing vessel with all the latest electronics. If you have never been deep sea fishing before or are an experienced angler you've come to the right place.A day of deep sea fishing on the Pastime Princess is great fun for everyone. We cater to the first timer as well as the seasoned veteran. Everyone was a first timer once and we understand that you may not know which end of the fishing rod to hold ( well I guess everyone knows that but you get my point). Hey, fishing isn't brain surgery, if it was you would need a brain surgeon.

If you want a great deep sea fishing trip, then go on the Pastime Princess Party Boat. A full galley and mates that help you with your fish. Always catching something in the Atlantic. Hopefully one day, we'll be able to keep the red snappers again.

Overall just in terms of fishing, the pastime princess experience was great. They captain did the best he could to put everyone on good fishing spots that were consistent. The only part of this trip that was a dissappointment was the crew. Considering the reminders that they would like a tip at the end of the trip they were often unfriendly and even made fun of some of the guests, but not in a joking way. I also very much disliked seeing one of them smoke and then litter by throwing the cig butt in the water.

While onboard the princess we were all treated very kind and helped by all onboard.I took 4 teenagers and my father we fish quite a bit at our home on the west coast of Florida and we were looking for a new fishing experience with lots of family memories to boot.I highly recommend the good time and due bring dramamine in case of bad seas.the boat is large enough for them but don't let something like that give you a bad time. The food onboard was tasty and with a/c onboard with a DVD player also, the kids could stay preoccupied if it starts to rain or just need to get out of heat.Bring small ice chest for lots of drinks ,cause it can be very hot on the water. The crew was extremely helpful and thoughtful when catering to our needs.Tangled lines, broken hooks, and getting fish off as well.thanks for the great family experience.

This is a great trip for families although it can be a bit crowded so expect to be patient with tangled lines. The crew was great and helpful. They were constantly busy helping everyone with a great attitude the entire trip. The food was great on the boat (a good old fashioned grill hamburger). We came away with enough fish to have dinner for 8 people (we were a party of 6) and we had the Dolphin View prepare it for use which was an excellent decision! The trip did take 2 hours to get out to a fishing location and we relocated 4 times, we were catching at every spot until the last. They did explain correctly to us at the beginning "you catch 8 or 9 and one keeper". Overall we had a great time and were happy with the trip and the crew.

The fishing trip was good. The bad experience is when you come in and the crew fillets your fish. There is no organization. You may get there in the first few and everybody else comes later and gets ahead of you. The main guy doing the filleting is a big a__ hole about you trying to get your place back ahead of them. He is a complete idiot and has no respect for how a paying customer should be treated. The process could be simplified by filleting in the order you received your stringer number and there could be no complaints,, but no, you have to have a smart a__ saying there is no order for it.
