We were very disappointed with our visit to SeaWorld Orlando and found it to be overpriced and over-hyped. $80 per adult gives you only access to general public attractions, scheduled shows, countless souvenir shops, and horrible tasting water at the few drinking fountains. We are a fit couple, but if endless walking from show to show and waiting/planning for each show schedule amidst screaming children for a whopping $80 bucks is your idea of a good time, then SeaWorld is the place for you. If you were hoping that $80 would include animal feeding times or something special, you’d be mistaken. An additional $5 will get you 4 small shrimp on a “tray” to feed the amazing Stingrays/Seals/Dolphins. Want to search the SeaWorld Orlando website for specific information? Good luck. For some reason, I’m reading about SeaWorld San Diego on the SeaWorld ORLANDO website. Why? I wish I knew. For $80 tickets shouldn’t be a hassle, but there are widely varying admission prices if you buy them online, are a US Citizen or Florida Resident, buy a multi-attraction package, are with a group, etc, etc. Expect price gouging if you forgot to bring your own water bottles, sun protection or energy snacks. Expect a security check at the entrance and unfriendly employees at ticket booths, the entrance and souvenir shops. Was there anything good about SeaWorld Orlando? Yes, the animals are amazing creatures and we loved the Stingray Lagoon where you could touch the amazing Stingrays for FREE. But even that is not worth $80 per adult admission. SeaWorld Orlando was a very disappointing and expensive experience.
