We were very disappointed with our visit to SeaWorld Orlando and found it to be overpriced and over-hyped. $80 per adult gives you only access to general public attractions, scheduled shows, countless souvenir shops, and horrible tasting water at the few drinking fountains. We are a fit couple, but if endless walking from show to show and waiting/planning for each show schedule amidst screaming children for a whopping $80 bucks is your idea of a good time, then SeaWorld is the place for you. If you were hoping that $80 would include animal feeding times or something special, you’d be mistaken. An additional $5 will get you 4 small shrimp on a “tray” to feed the amazing Stingrays/Seals/Dolphins. Want to search the SeaWorld Orlando website for specific information? Good luck. For some reason, I’m reading about SeaWorld San Diego on the SeaWorld ORLANDO website. Why? I wish I knew. For $80 tickets shouldn’t be a hassle, but there are widely varying admission prices if you buy them online, are a US Citizen or Florida Resident, buy a multi-attraction package, are with a group, etc, etc. Expect price gouging if you forgot to bring your own water bottles, sun protection or energy snacks. Expect a security check at the entrance and unfriendly employees at ticket booths, the entrance and souvenir shops. Was there anything good about SeaWorld Orlando? Yes, the animals are amazing creatures and we loved the Stingray Lagoon where you could touch the amazing Stingrays for FREE. But even that is not worth $80 per adult admission. SeaWorld Orlando was a very disappointing and expensive experience.

Loved to see all the shows and sea life, rides were also great. My favorite part was picking an oyster to see what kind of pearl you get, cost $$ but was great now I have a pearl necklace that I will always remember our trip there.

We went on a Monday. It was not overly busy. We easily watched all the shows. They did a wonderful tribute to the American Soldiers before the One Ocean show which we thought was neat. The only complaint is the Sea World map and signs...!! It was so confusing and goofy. We just couldn't figure it out half the time. We found one day was good enough for us...but we have no kids.

my 11 year old was really looking forward to this as she wants to be a marine biologist and had a list of questions to ask. had a bit trouble getting in via bag search had a few snacks as my other daughter is veggie and now fed up with just eating cheese pizza but she did let us go saying as we only a few (once inside i saw a lot of people with their own so was just unlucky with the staff mem we got). but once inside it was fantastic 1st saw the new dolphin show then did the sting rays/giant turtles/sharks all staff gr8 and answered all my daughters questions only had to wait 20mins for journey to atlantis (bring a few quarters for the lockers) then to my husband favourite show sealions its the mime artist he loves so get there early to watch him b4 the show starts very funny. 9yr didnt reach manta/kraken height so we all didnt do it but again line not to long. went to see the penguins manatee/gaters an a walk round the sea garden as i remembered thats where there are the horses but stable closed but again staff with kangroos and monkeys all very friendly answering everyone questions then wild artic which is very jerky (husband green when he came off) so i would suggest u do the walk route if get sick on rides/polar bear wasnt there but think the encloseure is a bit small. still had a bout 90mins b4 shamu show so did atlantis again and went to see the sealions at pacific point very funny they wait for someone to throw them food or just lay back and sun bath. now off to the shamu show plenty of space wasnt a very busy day. as most people have said not the same now the trainers not in the pool getting thown about but still very good. and u will get soaked if you seat in the spalsh zone. all in all very good day could have planed our route round the park better to fit in the pets ahoy/the call of the ocean show but as we had a seaworld/bush gardens/aquatic combi tickets did plan to back but run out of time.daughter now even more determind to be a marine biologist and study in florida (better start saving!)
