This park has mt. everest which is a great ride, and kali rapids. It also has a safari ride which is a little taste of a real safari ride!

We went after we'd done the Magic Kingdom twice, Universal Studios, Universal Islands of Adventure, and Epcot. So my grand-kids (ages 11 and 4) were ready and willing for something different. You'll need to use fast passes to see the Safari - and you probably should try to see it twice - it was totally different each time - even though we rode twice within an hour. The animals have gotten used to the jeeps - and while you can't really take pictures - the jeeps jump around way too much - the feeling is very much like the Africa I saw when I went on Safari for real. The two main shows - Lion King and Nemo are outstanding - and I actually enjoyed the roller coaster that is Mount Everest - in a - cool, but I'm not doing it again - kinda way. The playground called the boneyard is bound to be a hit with the younger crowd - just try to do it when everything else is too crowded for words. Another comment - try to spend some time talking to the animators - they know a ton about the different animals - and if you rush thru without taking the time to listen - you are going to miss some of the best parts of the animal kingdom. This is less a theme park then it is a zoo with cool rides. Relax, stroll, enjoy.

Animal Kingdom is all about conservation and how man's evil influence on the world has destroyed mother nature. Sometimes, it can get a little thick. If you can cut through some of that, it really is a great place.

My husband and 2 children went here. It was very crowded and we kept getting run over by strollers. We did not enjoy this park as much as others. The animals must have been sleeping. I think we could have skipped it but glad we saw it once but will not be going back
