“Perfect end to family trip”
Reviewed 27 April 2012

After 4 days in hilton we upgraded to 3 nights here. King suite with fireworks/ pool view. The room was just amazing! Housekeeping was the best weve had in a long time.
Sweet cupcake platter was sent up for our daughter birthday, enough for eveyone to enjoy.

Drinks down in peacock alley was always very enjoyable.
Pools were great but the food and staff at pool resturant was rather dissapointing. A few big conventions going on at Hilton and Waldorf during our entire stay but never felt too overcrowded with people.

Front desk gave us a very generous late check out, with two small children and a 10pm flight home it was very helpful.

We stayed in a suite for three nights in April with our two children. The hotel was wonderful--very well done. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the hotel bar was lovely. It is connected to the Hilton and guests have use of that pool as well as the Waldorf pool. As we had young children, we headed to the the water slide and lazy river at the Hilton which kept the kids (and us!) entertained for hours. We had a lovely lunch pool side. Our room had a Disney view and we could see the fireworks at night. If you are looking for a trip to Disney with a way to escape Disney at the end of the day, the Waldorf perfect. If we go to Disney again, this is where I will stay.

A group of 6 was scheduled for massage at the same time. Spa staff took about 10 min. painstakingly asking us which scent massage oil we wanted our therapist to use and which drink we wanted at the conclusion and then another 5-10 min to walk us through the spa, get changed out of our clothes and be called one by one for our massage. This left about 35 min at most for a 50 min massage that cost $180, and at the end I got tap water to drink instead of the much-hyped blueberry flavored "special" drink called Wisdom. The massage felt so rushed that it was hard to enjoy. Afterwards, no staff even asked for feedback or if our service was good. This was the shortest and most expensive and least enjoyable massage I have ever had and I get massages on a fairly frequent basis. Buyer beware!

Stayed at the Waldorf for one week in January 2012. We were a group of three girls on our first trip to the US. We stayed in a room on the top floor overlooking the pool and grounds which had a view of the Disney fireworks. We cannot fault anything about our stay, it was a truly magical experience from start to finish. Let's hope the New York Waldorf lives upto the high standards it's Orlando branch has set when we visit NYC soon.

I spent 8 days here for spring break recently with my wife and two children (ages 4 & 7) and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property. We were Hilton Honors Diamond upgraded to a 14th floor corner suite overlooking the pool area with views of Disney and have nothing but positive things to say about the room: very large, well appointed, very comfortable beds, balcony was great, etc. The service at the Waldorf was also top notch and 100% of the staff we encountered during our stay was very friendly and helpful. We utilized the hotel as a base for our visits to Disney, Legoland and Kennedy Space Center and the Waldorf was a relaxing place to return to after each eventful/tiring day. The pool was very nice and relaxing although we did end up spending more time at the Hilton due to the lazy river and water slides. This is a first class hotel in all regards and we definitely will stay here again during future Disney visits!

Room Tip: Request a room with a view of the pool/golf course which will allow you to see the nightly firework...

We stayed in Delux Room for two nights in February with my spouse. I had diveded risks, and we stayed also in another hotel in Orlando. I regret that we did, as Waldorf-Astoria was such a nice place.

+ The rooms were nicely decorated and very clean.
+ The pool area was nice, with nice couch sets and fire places to enjoy after evening swim
+ The gym was well equipped, fresh and nice. It was also easy and nice to go for a morning jog, with the walkway on the side of the golf course.
+ The front desk staff was really helpful, and provided us with good tips.

There was a small incident with the iron ( leaking some rusty water on my dress) and the front desk handled the feedback well and compensated me immediately.

Unfortunately we did not try their own restaurants, so no comments on those.

Would absolutely stay again!

Only here for a weekend but what a beautiful and well kept hotel. Would have loved to have had time to go to spa. Service was first rate. Very helpful staff all round who seemed to always know your name. Very convenient for Disney

Room Tip: Choose a room overlooking the golf course. The one-bedroom suite is really quite nice.
