First stay in Orlando as a family. Two adults and two year old. In laws flew in later and booked in this hotel for a few days. When I made the reservation I accidentally booked a smoking room through Expedia. I called and tried to change the room and was told that they would put a note on it but can't guarantee. I was overjoyed at the non-smoking room and quick check in.

Pluses - free Internet, breakfast and parking. One bedroom suites were spacious with full size fridge, microwave, pull out sofa and dishwasher. Love the full size fridge! Large safe in room to hold just about anything. They serve a hot breakfast not just continental. Sure you may get bored with it but you can cook yourself or walk right outside to Denny's or other restaurant. They do change it up every other day or so and try to keep everything topped up. Line-ups and seating is the only real issue at meal time. You can't beat waking up, grabbing breakfast and heading to WDW or Seaworld. Saves time and money. My son is a picky eater to boot so grabbing tiny bits of food at the breakfast bar for him to try is priceless really. We made it back for complimentary "snack" one afternoon - it was chicken stir fry. It was salty but probably a good thing since we were sweating all day.

We had a rental car but did try out the local tram one day for fun. Tram is just outside the hotel. Not so fun when the trams are packed trying to get back to the hotel with a child and stroller in tow.

Nice and friendly staff! Will be back for sure.

Suites are very clean and well equipped. Plus the bonus of having an in room safe.
Complimentary breakfast and 5 a 7 will save you some $$$ more so when you have children with you.
Very friendly staff and lots of parking. Tourist Information Office a 3 minute walk from hotel.

Most of the other reviews seem to cover the basics of this hotel: Large, spacious suites that are clean, comfortable, and close to all sorts of attractions on International Drive. The rooms even have King beds, which is a plus given that many extended stay places usually have Queen beds, or smaller.

The only real downside was their wireless internet. Unfortunately, during most of my 3-night stay, their Wi-Fi ran EXTREMELY slow. 56k modem slow. Especially during peak hours (like the evening). Maybe that's not a big deal for most guests, but for me it was pretty important, and the only reason I can't give the hotel an "Excellent" rating.

Other then the issues with the internet, the property was a great stay, at an amazing price.

Was in Orlando for a trade show. This hotel is very convenient for those working or attending a trade show at the Orange County Convention Center. "free" Hot Breakfast buffet in the morning is a huge plus. Lots of restaurants/bars within walking distance. The suites provide two rooms, fridge, microwave, stove...so perfect for a family or for those that dont want to eat out every meal..good way to save money.

Room Tip: Ask for a view of the pool

WE would definitely come back. The customer service is outstanding and they go way beyond your expectations to make sure you have an amazing stay! Tatiana went out of her way to make sure our stay was comfortable and welcoming. She truly is a wonderful employee and we had an excellent time due to the outstanding service she provided.

The room was plush and comfortable, always clean and the breakfasts were fantastic. I so appreciate the care and personal attention we received during our stay and I owe a HUGE thanks to Tatiana! Thank you for everything. We had a magical time at Disney and we enjoyed a fabulous stay at the Homewood Suites. Thank you Tatiana!
