Hotel is well located at a short walk from International Drive. You can take bus or Trolley to go to convention center and to attractions. However the building is old, decoration needs renovation. Rooms need also renovation. If Hotel is with high occupancy you need to take long lines to have breakfast or get up really early..

We have been staying at this hotel since 1990 and have always had a great experience. Very convenient breakfast and then an easy drive to WDW. Staff is very pleasant and appears hotel was recently renovated. For the times we return early enough the manager's reception is a nice plus. Only downside is that the pool temperature was very cool.

This is a lovely hotel with great friendly staff. The suites are very comfortable and the breakfast and cocktails were very good. The outdoor pool was a bit small and got crowded easily but apart from that, this was a lovely place to stay. The I-4 is very noisy but we could hardly hear it from the room.

I really enjoyed my stay here. All the services were readily available, the staff very very helpful and accommodating. When I needed help with my internet connection they had qualified staff available with no wait time to help resolve the issue and get me connected. The room was clean, good amenities, ambiance was good and very relaxing place to stay. Will return.

Stayed here in March 2012, for a trip to Universal Studios. Overall great stay, and would recommend this hotel with ONE caveat: The "2-room suite" turns out to only be effective if you view it as one sleeping room and one family room. There's a hide-a-bed in the front room, but it's very difficult to get any sleep there because of the tremendous noise. The door opens out into the very large atrium with the bar and breakfast area on the ground floor -- we could hear *everything* even six floors up. Forks hitting plates, plates hitting racks, carts rumbling over walkways, drinking people laughing it up. This goes on early and late. Then, ever time anyone within 2-3 rooms of us let their door slam shut, along with the slamming noise, I could literally feel the vibrations though the floor and in my hide-a-bed. Even with my head under a pillow, this woke me up.

I'm not a light sleeper! But trying to sleep in the front room gave me little rest on this trip. However, to put it in context, I still didn't want to climb in one of the double beds in the back room with my 10-yr-old... that would have been worse!

Good stuff:
Everyone in the back room of our suite slept great. The hotel was nicely appointed, generally clean and well-kept. The breakfast bar was great. The staff were polite and helpful. The location is SUPER for Universal (10-min drive). We got a $25 gift cert for room service when we checked in, which was a nice touch.

Room Tip: Get as far away from the elevator as possible (each floor goes in a circle) - so you don't hear...

Overall we had a great experience. Staff were extremely courteous and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was GREAT. Although the rooms do need an upgrade the staff and amentities make up for it. We would would stay again at the same hotel.

The hotel is just off I drive in Orlando so convenient for the theme parks etc and easy to reach from the Orlando international airport, about 20 min drive, but have coins ready as SR 528, "Beachline expressway", is a toll road!!

Hotel was fine large atrium so nice veiw from the internal corridoors, rasturant and bar in the middle of the central area. While I was there they had a mangers special from 17.00 to 19.00 so cheap drinks. No restaurant in the hotel but many within walking distance or a short drive.

Buffer breakfast in the morning was nothing special but was in the room rate at least.

Now the room it was clean but when you opened the door is smelt damp and stale. This is probably because the bathroom is in the middle of the room with a lounge at the front and bed at back. You could not open the windows so air just was stale and damp from the bathoom! Shame really, as it was not cheap but I would not stay there again.
