I emailed the restaurant to make reservations for a party of six at 6:45 PM. Upon arrival at your restaurant, we were was told by the hostess that no such reservation was received. We indicated the reservation was made via the restaurant's website email and was advised that the hostess did not have access to the email account. We asked who did and was advised that only the owner had access to this account. Even though the hostess believed that I had indeed made the reservation, we were refused the courtesy of adding our party to the reservation list. We were then treated as a walk-in. There is no notice on your website that reservations must be made by phone and that email reservation were not accepted. This was a real disappointment.
My wife ordered a grilled fish platter dry. When served she requested some melted butter for the fish. Upon receiving our bill we found that you charged $0.50 for the melted butter. We never heard of such a thing and everyone at the table was shocked by such a petty charge. It wasn't the money but the principle.
Our meals were delicious but it appears that that some aspects of the restaurant failed to meet up to our expectations.
