While it looks like an ordinary Chinese take-out joint going in, you certainly learn the "difference" when the food comes out. In terms of taste, Difference is far and away the best Chinese food I've had. The beef with broccoli and sesame chicken were excellent, as were the soup and egg roll. And don't even bother to try the fried dumplings unless you're prepared to buy two orders...because I couldn't stop eating them after one. The presentation (I ate in) was impressive for a take-out restaurant and the staff were friendly and helpful. After a short conversation I learned they make almost everything in-house, including the shells for the dumplings and egg rolls. Because of all the attention to detail, Difference is a bit pricier than other take-out places in the area but well worth the extra dollar for the quality. If you're content with Chinese food that's made cheaply and sells cheaply, go somewhere else. If you'd prefer excellent and authentic Chinese cuisine at a bargain price, check out Difference!

We had take-out from here, and while the food was great and the lady on the phone got our large order just right, it ended up being pretty expensive. I had the sweet and sour chicken with fried rice, egg roll, and wonton soup, which was all really good and a large enough portion to have at least lunch the next day from it. Others in my group got chow mein and sesame chicken specials, and they all seemed to like their dishes as well. Be sure if you ask for wontons that you specify what kind - we wanted cream cheese wontons (maybe this place calls them crab rangoon or something) but ended up with some that had pork on the inside. They were still tasty, just not what we were expecting.
Overall a good experience, and they were pretty fast. I'd eat from here again.

We have really enjoyed the food here this past year. We were very disappointed this time.

The fried dumplings and egg drop soup were good, not great, most disappointing were the shrimp toasts which tasted stale and dry, we could not finish them. The Mongolian beef was fair, tho overpowered by onions. Finally, the house special Fried rice was dark brown from soy sauce and the flavors of the ingredients were not distinguishable. Hope they change back fast, we drive past several other Chinese restaurants to get the shrimp toast as others don't offer it.

The food is subtly spiced, yet very flavorful. All the dishes are prepared fresh, and are excellent. There are a few tables, but no-one seems to eat there - it's all takeout. The owners are elderly and clearly care about the quality of the food they prepare and service to their customers. Over a 2 week visit, we ordered dinner 3 times, and all the dishes were very good to excellent, and very reasonably prices. In NY, they would be a booming success.

A non-descript restaurant in a plain old strip center. We looked at it from the outside and decided not to enter. Then, we went next door to the produce shop. Connie, the owner, told us that she eats lunch there regularly and that the food was very good.

It was raining and we were hungry... so, why not give it a try?

After placing our order, with one of the owners- we learned that they do not serve water, either hot or cold. Drink selection is limited to bottled water or canned soft drinks. No glasses or drinking cups available.

The food arrived and it looked good. Tasted very good. My wife remarked that her dishes tasted like NYC Chinese food. A high compliment.

So, give it a try, rain or shine.
