The location for this unit was convenient for switching between Tampa and Sarasota / Tampa area. The unit itself is spacious enough - two bedrooms, good size living area. Dining area is a bit tight, kitchen is a galley type one but well equipped. Very high ceilings which makes it seem quite spacious. The AC unit - the outdoor portions can be noisy when they kick in (if you are sitting on a back balcony) and the inside one can wake you during the night if you are in the second bedroom. There were a few maintenance items that could have been taken care of ... one of those ones where if an owner stated several nights it would be noticed and likely fixed. The guide provided by the rental company is helpful, but could also include a map of the Little Harbor resort for what is there and where it is; a channel guide for the (very nice) flat screen TV would help too. Nice that it has a keypad lock so you don't need to worry about a key, and also an actual garage to park in. Do note that the living areas (including 4 balconies) are on the 2nd and 3rd floors and with the high ceilings it means lots of stairs - particularly from the main floor to the first floor with the main living area. Not sure how well this would work if you had mobility problems or small children. Never did find the pool. The Tiki restaurant which is on site is quite nice - ate there several times and enjoyed each meal - great views for it too.
We saw dolphins go by in the canal at the back of the unit multiple times, and watching the fish and birds while having a coffee in the morning was so very nice.
