My husband and I stayed at the Sebastian Hotel in St. Augustine, Florida for three nights. We chose this hotel because it was pet friendly and centrally located to many attractions. The hotel staff was extremely knowledgeable and professional. They advised us about the courtesy shuttle service from the hotel and answered our questions about purchasing tickets for the trolley tour.
We stayed in Tower B, room 417 which faced the rear of the building. The room was spacious and quiet, and we never hear any noise from the pool area which could be viewed from our room. From another window in our room we could see the top towers of Flagler College, the Sebastian Winery, and the canal leading to the Intercoastal waterway. Our hotel was clean and the beds were quite comfortable for sleeping. The windows had blackout curtains which enabled us to sleep later then expected.
The hotel provides complimentary coffee in the lobby daily. The front desk staff even gave our Pomeranian pup a doggy treat, which he eagerly accepted! We ate breakfast one morning at the hotel, which serves a hot buffet for hotel guests. There is a fee ($12.95 for adults, $8.95 for children). The breakfast is unremarkable and similar to what many other hotel chains offer on a complimentary basis.
In conclusion, we enjoyed our stay at the Sebastian Hotel and would certainly stay again.
