Description: Family-owned and operated for more than 113 years, Columbia has earned acclaim for its old-world charm and award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine and wine list. Join us for century-old family recipes like Paella "a la Valenciana," Filet Mignon and fresh seafood specialties. Don't miss Columbia's Original "1905" Salad(R), prepared tableside with our delicious, freshly-made dressing, a family recipe of fresh garlic, oregano, wine vinegar and Spanish extra virgin olive oil. Be sure to sample a fine Spanish wine like Montecillo or Campillo. Relax in our courtyard or Mediterranean-style dining rooms, filled with hundreds of hand-painted tiles and Spanish-style fountains. We are a sister to the Columbia in Tampa's Ybor City, founded in 1905. Children's menu available. Casual attire is fine, but we don't allow sleeveless shirts on men. Open 365-days a year, including all holidays. Please visit our website for the most current menu listings.

This is our favorite restaurant in St. Augustine!! The original restaurant hails from Ybor City, FL, near Tampa, and has family recipes passed down from generation to generation. The architecture and ambience are beautiful. Lots of colorful Spanish tiles adorn the walls and floor. There are several atrium rooms that boast natural lighting and fountains. They make a 1905 Salad at the table that is delicious! A must try for every first guest! They sell the "secret" dressing as well as lots of beautiful pottery Spanish pieces in the adjacent store. Don't miss the shop! It's really neat. Between the ambience and the food, it's my favorite lunch spot around!

I have eaten here 3 or 4 times and the best food the have believe it or not is the salad which they make fresh at your table. The salad dressing is a homemade vinegar and oil base. It is fantastic.

Reception was good... we made a reservation but had to wait 20 minutes after the time. You NEED a reservation but the service is very good, food of high quality and very charming atmosphere. Good for families, couples or even business. Definitely an excellent choice!

Attentive staff; well prepared food; large servings in an attractive setting. The food was very well seasoned. The only shortcomings were that the grilled grouper was a bit dry but the Paella Valenciana was just right.

We visited St. Augustine in March and found the city to be chock full of history. The Columbia Restaurant added to it's warmth. You will be struck by the typical Spanish gay colors and friendly service. We stopped by to have lunch and enjoyed it so very much that we made a reservation for dinner. They had an extensive menu of wonderful food. Our waitress was Tracy. She was experienced and a delightful. It also had a great gift shop. If you traveled to Spain and forgot to purchase a little momento, you will find something among the available items including Spanish seasonings and special salad dressings. ENJOY!!
