This place was phenomenal! Here's the breakdown of our experience:
The staff:
Everyone was wonderful, kind, always smiling and helpful. Mostly text/virtual interaction which was new for us but absolutely flawless. Easy to check in, check out, and wicked easy to request happy hour and breakfasts. Even the landscaper/lawn guy we interacted with a few times was awesome.
The venue:
Right on the bay strip, it's just far enough away from the bustle of St George and King St area (which you must go down, btw!), but still close enough to walk anywhere there. Everything was very well manicured from the lawn to the room, and even the gazebo/shared patio area was well taken care of. It is still St. Augustine, keep in mind, so historic is part of it you will see some old bits even around the venue, but that's part of the charm to be frank, and by no means a detriment. The room was very clean, with the only slight downside being a spring mattress. While still comfy it just wasn't something we're used to sleeping on. Full transparency we brought our (chunky) puppy, who they accommodated very well and honestly for wonderfully fair pricing. Walking down the bay front was very nice with our dog and would absolutely recommend this venue if you have a pup you wish to bring. Though! Please make sure it's a well behaved puppy! We did come across a few that weren't, but they weren't at our venue but one of the neighboring venues.
Breakfast and happy hour
This wasn't super fancy or anything, but it was still amazing. Food was delicious, and the proportions were perfect for both breakfast and happy hour. Drinks also followed suite not being super fancy still quite a few drinks options so always found something that we wanted. The happy hour was perfect to get ready to go out for dinner!! Just a little snack and booze to get the spirit started! The variety was also pretty top notch, we never knew what to expect but it was always hitting the spot. A little sweet a little savory always perfect to get us ready to take a walk around the shops! Attached are some photos of one of each of breakfast and happy hour.
