I still can’t believe I stayed there. When I read Historic Inn I thought it would be old and quaint! It was anything but! Older yes...needs renovation badly. Rooms smell of cigarette smoke and they are very run down. I thought about leaving but was too pooped. I could not get out of there soon enough! Hopefully the owners will clean it up or tear it down and start over.

sadly disappointed but we arrived on saturday afternoon and love the area but there was not a lot available so we chose this one. sadly the condition of this hotel is detiorating rapidly. the room was non smoking but is right at the smoking area outside so needless to say, the smell came in through the open windows which i closed and then through the air conditioning...yuck! it is not very clean but the bed was comfortable. however not the nicest bedding...needs bleach and lots of tide. the pool was not open but it is within walking distance of the downtown. The managers/owners were very nice, but the hotel needs a LOT of TLC
Awful, awful, awful, accomodations. Filthy, nasty, rusty, musty, dirty, stinking, broken-down, disgusting. When brought our blankets from the car and sleep on top of them on top of the beds. We were afraid to get under the sheets. Mold in the AC/Heater. Cracks everywhere, in the walls, in the tile, in the door. Prisons must be better than this room was.
This was an absolutely disgusting motel room. I was not expecting a palace, but I expected something at least liveable. The bed sheets had blood stains and other unmentionables, there were cigarette burns on the sheets and duvet, actual poop on the outside of the toilet bowl and the seat, hair in the drains, mould growing everywhere, a TV straight from the 80s, lamp shades that were shredded and no free wifi like advertised.
When we returned to our room from a day out and saw it for the first time, we were absolutely disgusted. We went to the man at the desk who was rude, and he gave us a new room. WHile this one didn’t have blood on the sheets and poop on the toilet, it wasn’t that much better. Because they don’t offer refunds after 30minutes of check in, we didn’t bother and just accepted we would have to shower somewhere else to really be clean.
We paid almost $100 dollars to feel disgusted and unclean in a smear of motel room.
Avoid at all costs
Absolutely disgusting! Go somewhere else. The internet barely works. The owner opened the door and stuck his head in without even knocking. Do not stay here there are much better places to stay. I’ve been to hotels much cheaper and it still was better. We left and went somewhere else that was cleaner and had much better service.
Hotel is so run down. All towels and sheets are stained. When we got our room window was open. Had to close and turn on ac. Middle of summer. Had people fighting outside at 4 in the morning. Pool is so little on our second day about 12 people were in it. We had a taped over hole in our room and our room door was busted. Split down the inside. Not worth the money we paid.found a drug bag with drugs in it in the parking lot. Stay away.
