We were going through here after Thanksgiving. First time in St. Augustine for me but not my companions. We stumbled into here based on the menu outside. During the day the patio is charming but i would imagine even cuter at nigh with the fairy lights strung across and close proxmity to the river.
One started with the deviled eggs with southern fried oysters. It's a large dish that is so rich it can be shared. We each got to try one of them and they were delicious.
I had the crab cake sandwich which was large and had fried green tomato on it and their daily soup. Everyone loved our meal, and the service was excellent.
I hope this place thrives as they source everything locally and show the enormous list of local farms they use. It tastes freshly made with care and the servers know the menu very well.

We stopped in Catch 27 based on both the reviews and the location. This was a quick lunch, so we opted for a couple of appetizers and drinks. It was a perfect morning, so we sat in the courtyard.

First, the location was great. Cute courtyard with the fountain on the wall. Service was perfect. In addition to our server, two others stopped by to make sure we were ok.

Drinks were just what was needed. Nice job.

The apps were a little mixed. Two of the three cheese on the cheese board were amazing. The smoke in the blue cheese had a slightly chemical taste, so threw off that section.

The Deviled Egg BLT was fun. Creamy, crunchy, wonderful flavors. Definitely a win.

Small dining room in heart of old St. Augustine. Amazing fresh fish and ingredients. We had fresh catch (flounder that night) on risotto, and fish tacos. All was delicious. Full bar, but we didn't drink that night. Service was good and prices had no surprises.

The restaurant is small. When we were seated we were somewhat surprised at how very loud it was in the restaurant. So loud it was difficult to hear. The food was WONDERFUL and the service GREAT. Unfortunately the owner needs to do something about sound absorbing, because there were only 2 of us and we were having a very difficult time hearing each other without shouting. We each had the Blackened Fish entree and I wanted to lick the plate it was so yummy. My mojito was also excellent. I would recommend the restaurant, but I would make sure people know what to expect about the sound level.

We were delighted with our meal and experience today! The Happy Hour was an amazing value and the food was delicious. A great deal of care and thought go into every detail - from food to ambience. No problems accommodating any request. There is wonderful outdoor seating when the weather is fine. If not - get a reservation for the cozy indoor dining room! Loved the soup, the appetizer, and the entrees were super. Be sure to try the chocolate torte with homemade ice cream.
