We spent 2 weeks on St.George Island and visited the park numerous times paying a $6 entrance fee. There are several picnic shelters with rest rooms. The beaches on the Gulf of New Mexico side were great for walking and far superior to the other areas.

A little piece of my childhood hasn’t changed since. Still beautiful and inviting like it always was. Glad some things don’t change.

We live in southwest Georgia and started to hear a lot about St. George Island so we thought that we would check it out! My sister's family and my family hooked up to drive down for the day. The beach here was gorgeous. it was still chilly but the kids still had a great time. There was a lot of beach access points in the park and two or three nice restroom areas that were very nice and clean. There was a six dollar admission fee which wasn't bad at all for 7 people in the vehicle. The covered pavilions and grills were also a nice touch.

You can't get a more natural and uninhabited beach with easy access than this state park. Two big day use areas both have covered picnic pavilions, bath house with flush toliets and nice outdoor rinse off showers. Quick walk over to the beach. Campground in the park for RV/tent camping also.

One of the best in the state. Accommodations are minimal but that adds to the charm that we enjoy. They do have a boat ramp, two large restroom/picnic areas and several “pull-off” stops. Best off all worlds with miles of beach, bay and hiking access.
