This just may be he best surprise of this winter's trip to Pine Island...had driven by a hundred times but who ever heard of great BBQ in Florida? Well, there is the rub...this is a smokehouse and the smoked meats may not be what you would find in TX, NC, etc. But that doesn't mean that they don't know how to smoke meats. We had brisket and wings. The brisket was perfectly cooked and not smothered in any sauces. It comes with a horseradish sauce but if you want a BBQ sauce you'll have to ask for it. The wings were smoked then glazed in a mango sauce--delectable! We also had a mango slaw an GREAT collards. Would return in a heartbeat. Only about ten tables plus a few outdoor tables. Portions ample...tokk home enough brisket to make two sandwiches.
