This was our first time visiting St Pete! Loved it!
Palm Crest is a great place to stay in St Pete! We stayed at the Palm Crest last March.

Jack (owner) couldn't have been nicer. Family owned business and very accommodating and gracious.

Palm Crest is in a great location, walking distance to stores, restaurants etc.

We managed without a car as we flew in. There is plenty of public transportation.

We were late getting our room booked and due to some recent cancellations we were able to get in as there are several regulars that have been coming to Palm Crest for many years.

I will say this is a very quiet resort with a family atmosphere.

We stayed in an efficiency room which was great because we could utilize the kitchen for a couple meals if we chose to.

The hotel is situated right on the beautiful white beach. The beach is separate from the resort (but steps away from hotel) so you will want to bring beach chairs (or the surrounding stores also sell them) otherwise daily chair rental from the company managing the chairs can be costly.
The beach is very long for those that like to walk as well.

We spent a lot of time at the pool which was just right outside our room.

Book Early!

Love this place! It's small and quaint. Jack the owner is very nice, and will do anything he can to help make your stay more pleasant. It's on beach front property, with a pretty popular bar next door. Nice swimming pool and grounds are well maintained. It's kid friendly place and typically it's a lot of repeat clients, time after time. Gas grill for use to all who stays there, free and with gas and utensils. I huge bonus to me anyways, lots of bbqing on vacation. Prices vary depending on season, but it's reasonable for location and amenities. I highly recommend it, but make sure you reserve in advance, bed usually booked. Thanks again palm crest staff!!

This is our first time staying here and we have a 2 yr old. I was a little put off by the person I spoke to on the phone so I was nervous but when we got there it was super relaxed and everyone there was great! From the guests to the staff they were all great people! This is the perfect place for families, no one is going to look at you like a nutcase if your two year old has a meltdown. This is not a trashy party motel it's 100% family oriented! We will definitely be coming back!

This is our second stay at Palmcrest and would still recommend it to anyone looking for a family/wallet friendly place to stay that has the best location/beach in St. Pete Beach. It has become a little home away from home for us! Jack is wonderful and accommodating. His staff is always super friendly! It is by no means a 5star hotel but what it doesn't show in high end fixtures and amenities. It for sure makes up for those downfalls with the laid back atmosphere, location and small efficiencies for the family that isn't on vacation for the room.... Love it here!

We stayed at the Palm Crest 5/21 - 5/25. We picked this hotel based on the reviews and were not disappointed. The room/grounds/pool were very clean. We used the grill several nights to cook our dinner. Nice feature. If you like the small mom/pop motels of the past then this is the place for you. If i ever have a return visit to St. Pete's Beach i definitely would be revisiting the Palm Crest.
