Apparently run by a French family, with authentic, delicate, and delicious croissants, espresso, and baguettes. Unassuming atmosphere with spectacular food, indoor and outdoor seating. Simple sandwich menu and quiche.

Do not be fooled by the location in a plaza dominated by a supermarket, this is the real deal.

The French seem to live for the purpose of loving their food, and they have brought that love here to St Pete Beach.

Completely charmed.

To find a real French baguette, particularly in such a humid locale, is a treat. It paired well with the Ile de France cheese from Cheese Lodge that we got at Sunday Farmers Market on Corey Avenue.

It's "Cafe Soleil." Someone should correct that.

Stocked up on chocolate croissants and the kind help even offered me ice water, with tons of ice, on a particularly hot day. Hope this place can stay around for a while.

Passed by this place after (another) Publix run, and decided to check it out as an alternative to Chick-Fil-A. Glad we did! The ambience is wonderful - the proprietors are part French, and the music, decorations, and even the chalkboard menus are charming. It isn't hard to imagine oneself in a Paris cafe. Indoor and outdoor seating is available, and there are good coffee and salad/sandwich menus, as well as plenty of pastries. There are lots of exotic ingredients available for sandwiches, and they will gladly customize any of their menu items for you. Food was very good, and my sandwich was served on bread that is as good as I've had in quite some time.

Cons: wasn't super-clean - silverware was smudged, floor beneath our table hadn't been swept for at least a couple meals. Sandwich was tasty but nothing unique (no special spreads or seasoning, though everything was certainly fresh).

Overall, though, this restaurant merits a strong 4 rating and is a great place for coffee, pastry, or lunch.

We left the resort for something different for lunch and this place looked interesting. Service was great and the food was excellent. The bread was fresh for the sandwich. Seems to be some issue as to the spelling on the window and how it is listed in trip advisory. Really great place to eat!
