We booked our stay nov 2014 for spring break 2015 march. When we booked and to this day Vrbo states we can use the resort facilities for 25/ adult/day. In February VIP rentals supposedly sent an email, did not bother calling, to let us know policy had changed and as condo renters we are unable to us the main pool and resort amenities. Change of sundial rules. Issues I have with VIP is they should have made an effort to call us as well as email because mine must have gone to junk. Second, for a spring break trip booked in November 2014, alerting guests of policy change in feb 2015, is way too late. Plane tickets booked, time taken off work, car rental, and no other place available for rent on such short notice. It was handled very poorly by rental group, with no consideration to fairness or customer satisfaction. Beware if u r renting from VIP or Sundial for that matter.
The condo was ok. Very outdated furniture. Decorated with mismatched furniture similar to the furniture one would put in basement. Kitchen had old laminate counters and cabinets. However, what got me most, was the windows in family room. Other units had two sliding doors that open to enjoy breeze and views. This unit has very small sliding door to right, but the main window is comprised of three large windows that do not slide open. So you don't get nice breeze and it gives you a fish bowl type feel and experience. I think the owners need to take pride in their unit, because this one is looking run down.
In conclusion, beware of misleading policy changes and poor customer service from both sundial and VIP rental. Also be prepared to stay in an outdated, rundown fishbowl.
