“Can't Wait to Return!”
Reviewed 1 August 2011

If you are looking for a spacious, ocean front condo, then look no further! Las Olas has it all! Condos have two bedrooms: one with a king, and one with two twins. The couch pulls out as well. Plenty of closet space. Two bathrooms. Appliances are all up to date, including flat screen tvs and wi fi. Fit our family of four nicely.

Amenities include: beach toys, pool toys, beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, daily activities for kids and adults, clean beach, nice rooms, spectacular view, genuinely friendly staff, and amazing views!

Although we did not attend the seminar, and had no solicitation, we were so impressed that we bought a share! Can't wait to return!

This summer was the 21st time we stayed at Las Olas. We are timeshare owners for the second week in July.

All 40 condominium units have a balcony facing east over the Atlantic Ocean. The rooms are sizable and there many closets which make it very nice for storing travel gear. All units have a full-sized refrigerator, kitchen utensils, microwave, washer-drier, multiple TVs, wireless Internet, free long-distance calling, fining room table, and sleeper sofa. Designed to handle six guests comfortably.

There are a plethora of things to do in the region. However, we have come to appreciate the easy-going, laid-back nature of the region and find ourselves more than happy to chill by the pool/whirlpool, walk the beach looking for sea turtles, or participate in the one of the many activities arranged by the staff (pig roast, karaoke, water olympics, bingo, hermit crab races, etc.)

This year we were pleased to see the addition of a new, full-sized party/reception room in which most of the activities occurred.

We love Las Olas and look forward to visiting every year.

Nice friendly resort with every unit facing the ocean. The units are very spacious and have a huge deck with 2 cushioned lounge chairs and a patio table with 4 chairs. Great for enjoying the fantastic view. The pool was nice and warm with lots of lounge chairs and we were surprised to see that the resort even had lots of lounge chairs to use at the ocean. We enjoyed the potluck dinner and karoke night and the $1.00 margaritas at the Tiki Bar. Phone calls within North America were free of charge as was the Internet in the unit. We found it to be a much quieter pace here compared to Daytona and New Smyrna, but on the down side, the beach isn't quite as wide for walking along the ocean, especially during high tide. Also, if you are into ocean swimming, it didn't seem as gradual as Daytona, although we didn't actually go in far and there were a few rocks here and there. The parking was inside below the condos, would definitely go back here.

Perfect for relaxation and peace and quite. It's more a of an older comunity. No loud teenagers to worry about. Places to shop are limited but nice. Whatever you do don't go to The Cove restraunt.

We stayed in Unit 508 in the south building during week 51 (week of Christmas) and had a great stay. We rented the unit by directly contacting the leasing office. I grew up in the area and was returning to visit family for the holidays, so I am very familar with the area and knew what to expect. Yes, the buildings are older, the fixtures are bit dated, and there is maintenance going on. It was totally unobtrusive though during our stay and we barely noticed it. Despite the buildings' age, the units are well taken care of, everything is incredibly clean, and the units are stocked with everything you need. It was so clean that I even used the bathtub, which isn't always the case in a rental. The units are so spacious that we didn't even use one of the bedrooms/baths for the three of us (myself, spouse, and baby). You could very comfortably have 6 people stay, which I believe is the limit - 2 in each bedroom and 2 on pullout couch. Loved having washer/dryer. Heated pool and jacuzzi cleaned each morning and were warm enough for December swimming. Beach gorgeous, much less touristy than Cocoa to the north. Had it to ourselves plenty of days. The front office staff are wonderful, and all other guests very friendly. Busy week with the holidays so didn't do any of the activities they sponsored, so can't comment. It is an RCI timeshare resort, but not once were we propositioned to buy, although there is a seminar if you are interested. One bit of advice that made for a great evening, we went up to Clayton's Seafood Market on US1 in Rockledge and got fresh crabs. The leasing office has big stock pots you can borrow and have a cookout - fun! Also, Harvey's Groves up that way on US1 has terrific Indian River citrus if you are there in the winter. There is a Publix, CVS, liquor store, and gas station all within walking distance, plus lots of good restaurants (Cantina Dos Amigos right across the street recommended). Overall very comfy, homelike spot for a week... we'll definitely be back.

Condo large but old everthing has been well used, really well used, a muggy musty lift or smelly stairwell welcomed you to and from room. The trash disposal area was also very smelly. The entertainment area is part of the groundfloor car park a bit grotty, pool toilet was really unclean when i went to use it, the pool is very small / the beach is beautiful but if you venture in the ocean you will cut yourself on the rocks bodyboarding is to dangerous, we travelled up the coast a few miles where there are no rocks .
The owner and staff were very nice and welcoming, the people we meet were all great but we were very disapointed with las olas it is not gold crown ,large condo nice people but three star would be generous we stayed in the south building.Disapointed with RCI
