Two weeks ago went to the Hard Rock in Hollywood, FL. Had delicious Chinese food at the food court. Just the best. Cooked by Haitians...really. Tonight ordered almost exactly what we ordered at the Hard Rock 'tak out' at this restaurant in Stuart. The Bourbon Chicken was tough / chewey and fatty...not crispy. Wondering what kind of meat it may have been. Threw it out. The Egg Foo Young..seems to me the patty was 'pre made 'as they were very compact and perfectly round... Shaped just like a perfect round hamburger. It is not supposed to look this way or taste this way. Threw it out. The fried rice ..just old and tasteless. Threw it out. Egg rolls soft and not fresh either..supposed to be crispy as well. Bit into ithe Egg Roll and the 'outer roll ' part stretched like a rubber band and whatever was in there fell out. Won Ton soup...no bok choy very salty a slight broth taste...that's it.. Two won tons sitting in the soup for a long time . . they had no more shape they were so soggy...fell all apart..and tasteless. The Crab Rangoon...must have reheated them over and over as they were stale tasting and hard as a rock. Even the dry bag of noodles for the soup were stale.. THREW OUT MY FOOD AND SO DID MY HUSBAND AND A NEIGHBOR we invited over... Sigh ! I give up. The two women that took care out front ...very nice. These Mom and Pop places need to realize that by not serving ''fresh'' food . . thinking they are saving a couple of dollars...they say goodbye to any new customers. The farther South you go the better the food tastes Over $30 dollars into the garbage pail. We try to just stick to the chain restaurants...but there are no Chinese ...PF Chang frozen better than anything around here. Closest to decent is the NY one in Palm City. VeryDisgusted.

We stopped in for take out and knew what we would like. We should have left when they said they did not feature four of our requests. They do not make chicken and corn soup, cold sesame noodles or eggplant or string beans in garlic sauce. People in the area do not eat those dishes we were told. Too bad. What we finally ordered was salty. A main dish had bland and dry shrimp. We had eaten there before and found it satisfactory, but will not be returning.

Local Chinese restaurant. Same owners for many years. Husband cooks and the wife works the front of the house. Large restaurant so no need for reservations. Always ample seating. Food is good, not great, but it is difficult to find great Chinese food outside of New York. It appears that they do a much better take out business than eat in. Large portions and inexpensive. If you are in the area, you can't go wrong unless you are looking for spicy food.

Been there 4 times now. I'm never thrilled nor badly disappointed. Tonight I was disappointed. The fried rice was dry and tasteless. The Triple delight was not a delight. It was bitter and salty tasting. Tonight I would have given the dinner a 1 but the three reflects my overall experience if I had to throw out the best and worst this restaurant has to offer.
