this place has a sign outside that claims its been there since 1948,it is not a fancy place with little inside seating and some outside seating and it seems most of the food being carryout, If you go during lunch time there will be a big crowd there an many have called, emailed or Bat signaled in orders. This place is jumping which is a compliment to the folks running the place. They seem to keep things running smoothly, to me it looked like sort of a controlled chaos The sandwiches were great ,I had a pressed Cuban, and it was good .They also make crab cakes that each one could serve 2 people. When in the Tampa area I always try to stop in for some food. I believe they are closed on Sundays ,and serve breakfast and lunches the rest of the week. I do not recall how late they are open ,but you can check out their website for hours and menu items. If you love a great sandwich or crab cake you have to stop here.
