I have nothing bad to say about Venetian Golf and River Club. The only problem was I had a tee time and was bumped for one of their members. The lady in the club house was very rude and unapologetic. I think they need to hire a better club house employee.

From arriving and being greeted at the bag drop, we had a great day.
$25 each for golf including range balls and cart. Free iced water at numerous points around the course was a welcome sight.
Course was nice and had some interesting holes and challenging greens. Good food and drink in the clubhouse and well priced.
This place is definitely worth a visit.

Golfed there about 5 times and would go back again. Lunch upstairs in the dining are is great with a large selection and the service in number 1.

Played here January 29, 2014. It is a private course during the winter and they are very disciplined in keeping the tee times at comfortable distances. The greens are super fast this time of year due to dry weather. Plenty of undulation on all greens makes putting a major challenge. In many greens, just touching the ball (really) would move it 40 feet. The fairways are wide and forgiving with good roll. Very nicely manicured, as you would expect at a private club. With five sets of tees, it is a good course for all skill levels.
the grille room downstairs is cozy. The food and snack prices are what you would expect at a private club, but the draught beer is surprisingly inexpensive. Actually, a pint of domestic beer was the same as a cup of coffee (2.50). There is a nicer bar for members only upstairs. I just got to look in. The starter is a wealth of information and eager to share it with you.....or he had too much coffee, not sure which. I would not hesitate to go back and challenge those greens.

Comfortable and attractive dining salon. Perfectly cooked and presented food (I had salmon to die for). Attentive service even though we were part of a large group (about 80 people) for a Christmas Dinner. One of few places where a prepaid service tip does not detract from excellent service.
