These units are not honestly represented in the owner's advertisement, and the ads leave out some important information. First, the apartments are in a very isolated area outside of town, and it's not easy to get in and out of the complex. It was difficult to get gojek or gocar because many drivers didn't know the location. Also not a safe place to be out walking alone at night. Would really need a car or your own transportation to make this convenient. There is also not much in the surrounds - one small convenience store and coffee shop, but of course not open late at night.
Furthermore, the remodeled unit shown in the photos is not where we were placed. We were in an older apartment that while clean was quite run down, behind the building light which was quite unpleasant. The furniture was worn out, and the vents desperately need cleaning - lots of dust and mold. Kompor (gas stove) was an old model with one burner, and the gas ran out right after we arrived. These are things that should be prepared for guests. Television signal stopped working after our first day, according to the staff a PLN problem, but it was never resolved and they didn't offer any apologies. Air conditioning in the two bedrooms was fine, but the living/dining area had no air-con unit. Constant smoking in the hallways by residents/other guests was also a problem despite the rooms being non-smoking.
The main pluses were the space and the comfortable beds. Wifi was also fast.
Staff was friendly enough and responsive, but the excessive deposit was unnecessary. When we decided to leave our booking a day early because we were unsatisfied with the unit, there was no offer of a partial refund or anything else, really. Front desk agent also started asking me personal questions from information she clearly got from my passport, which I found highly inappropriate.
Overall, there are several better choices in town with similar prices.
