We have stayed here a couple of times. Very warm, clean & friendly staff. Stayed in rm # 102, neat, VERY clean & quiet...slept like a baby after a 14 hr drive.

Breakfast, was B & G, steaming hot, pancakes, muffins, cereals, juice, milk, and of course coffee (:

Would recommend this motel with out hesitation (:

Room Tip: Liked room # 102, very quiet

Stopped here on the way home from Florida. Hampton Inn was full as was the Days Inn. They recommended the Darien Inn. Room was clean, bathroom spotless. Worked well as it was right off the highway. Left before breakfast so I can't comment on the food. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

We selected this hotel based on TripAdvisor ratings and reviews. Based on outward appearance one probably would not choose to stay here. This area is truly depressed as most, if not all, of the shops in the outlet were closed permanently. Hotel is dated but clean. Staff was friendly. Room are clean with microwaves, refrigerators, and coffee makers, irons, ironing boards. Breakfast consists of gravy, biscuits, a few muffins, frozen pancakes, toast, cereal. I hate these little pillows all the hotels have gone to so glad I brought my own. Mattress not comfortable. All in all, in the future will not be our first choice. However if you have had a long day and just want to crash....it is certainly ok.

We stayed here because it was a nice mid-point between Jekyll island and Savannah. It was very nice and quiet, the staff was very friendly they even let us check in early when we were on our way to Jekyll which was great since we were in a truck and if started raining.lol . We will defiantly stay here again, in fact I'm already planning our next trip.

Darien seems to have closed it's doors since our last stop there. The hotel is called that Darien Inn at the Outlet Mall. The Mall used to be about 100 or more retailers, and you could find clothes, gifts and tons of things you might like--alas, now it's a used furniture store and a YMCA. Most of the restaurants in town are closed, and the highway construction project seems to be stalled. The smell of death they say. And Brunswick, just a few miles south is "humming".

Again, the hotel is old, and has been partially refurbished. Thank god the Indians are keeping the hotels open for those of us travelers who choose to stop.

Room Tip: If you ask for views of the Outlet Mall, you will sleep soundly
