You can tell they work on this property, and there's a lot of good stuff here. I loved the furniture in the room, lots of little pull out drawers and shelves that increase the amount of usable space.
Then there are the cracks between the floor and the wall in the bathroom. Not a terrible thing, but one of those little details that tell the guest that the room isn't quite right. The slapdash paint job on the bathroom door. The awful toilet paper that acted as if it weren't even perforated. I've had bad toilet paper before, but this was noticeably bad. The toilet seat was crooked and unable to be straightened up. Finally, the room felt musty and had a kind of wet dog smell to it for our entire overnight visit.
Staff was okay, breakfast was what you'd expect a Hampton Inn breakfast to be, adequate and hot, a good variety of offerings. I like having breakfast available and this one didn't disappoint me at all.
It's been a long time since a property slid a paper statement under my door, but I got one here. Seemed like a waste of paper, but what do I know?
I'd stay here again. It's a convenient stop for us as we travel and there's nothing particularly wrong with the property. It's a good, solid option among all the hotels in the area.More
