We found this property on Airbnb website and couldn’t be happier we booked it! We stayed 3 nights. It’s beautig and quiet. The geodome is a very spacious tent shaped like a dome, hence the name. It feels like you’re on a safari in a far off land inside with all the cool decorations and finds inside the dome. The bed was super comfy. (There is one queen bed and two other smaller beds perfect for friends or children). At night with all the fans going it got to th perfect sleeping temperature even though the days were warm. There is an outdoor soaking tub with curtains for privacy (although it’s a very private location anyways). There is an outdoor shower with nice hot water and a separate outdoor room with the sink and toilet. The kitchen is al outdoors and beautifully set up with everything you need.
There is a separate seating area with a covering and twinkle lights. I feel like words don’t describe how serene and awesome it was!
The new owners/management are a super sweet young couple. They also have an airstream you can rent out. There small farm has chickens, sweet dogs, kitties, and goats. There were 2 baby goats there we got to pet.
Overall, just a great stay in the beautiful setting of East Ellijay. Downtown Ellijay isn’t too far away and is adorable. Also fun are the scenic spots along Carters Lake and the wineries offered.
Very affordable and we will be back!!!!!!
