yet they make an open faced chili dog served on a plate that has to be eaten with a fork that might be the best i have ever tasted. its nothing too pretentious. not by a long shot. it just simple chili made with beans onions and i presume chili-o mix with a lot of hamburger that is slow cooked for a right good while until comes together. the weenies are nothing fabulous. sure they are good quality but i don't believe they come form new york city if you catch my drift. the buns re local. by that i mean holism or sunbeam or some other right off the shelf manufacturer. there are no sesame seeds, no poppy seeds
, they are split on the side the way God intended them to be. the mustard is probably frenchs unless some other brand was on sale. i reckon the staff is what really makes this place so special. they look after their customers, keep the joint clean in between lunch hour rushes, and smile a lot. make you feel good about being there kind of attitude that washes over the entire place. chili dogs are not their only item. they are not even themes popular. they make a right fair burger, a delicious turkey club and this time of year especially make a bodacious b l t. grouper sandwich is more than any mere ammeter can handle so stay away from that unless you are real hungry. they make a devine cold plate of tuna salad, potato sale, slaw chips and pickles. h the pickles. they are icy cold here. kind of cold that will rattle your teeth yet still deliver that satisfying crunch ringing with vinegar snappy like. its fun to eat here. food is pretty good too.
