We searched and searched and finally found this place...not much on reviews so we took a chance. What a little find! There are about 7 cabins and each has a fireplace and stunning views! The owners are the most laid back and nice people. The cabins are secluded but close at the same time. Not far from North Carolina either.

These cabins are the best way to get away and experience the quiet of the mountains. The cabins have amenities enough to feel like a vacation home, and a spacious porch with several rocking chairs, a real fireplace, and amazing view of the smokies. Friendly owners go above and beyond, functional and reliable Internet, good ac, great tubs, and wonderful beds. Will come visit again!

Quaint, private, well-planned getaway for city folk. Owners are most accommodating, and you soon think of them as long-time friends. We look forward to our week there with great relish. You can't go wrong choosing this for your vacation.

Room Tip: Some cabins have wood stoves; others are electric.

We (three adults) stayed in the small but nice Astor cabin. This cabin has one bedroom, one bathroom and a loft open sleeping area with a full size bed. The cabin was neat, clean and has a nice mountain view from the deck. The owners are nice and easy to work with. We went to the fall festival but there are many activities and scenery in the area.
Highly recommended based on our experience.

Four of us stayed for a week in one of these roomy cabins. Our biggest complaint is that the screen door to the beautiful porch squeaked loudly.
We prepared meals in the kitchen (even had a dishwasher) and spent a large amount of time on the back porch, where there were 2 bird feeders. The hummingbirds were active around their feeder, but the sunflower feeder wasn't visited much with us sitting right there. One would probably have to sit inside and watch through the window to watch the bigger birds feed. We saw plenty of red, blue, and yellow birds in the tree looking at the feeder.
When we arrived, the table was set with real flowers that lasted our whole week. and the ice-maker in the fridge was turned on. I drank the tap water and it is great.
We walked on up the mountain from our cabin and found a private little area with a picnic table, and another picnic table at the top of the mountain, where the view was best. I also saw a horseshoe pit.
The manager, Don, is friendly and accommodating, the Violet cabin is beautiful, clean, and well equipped. We were happy to find a free wireless internet connection. The big TV with remote got about 20 stations, but we didn't really watch it, and I believe there was a movie player machine hooked to it.
Some of the special things we liked were the handmade decorations and collectibles displayed, the baskets of magazines upstairs and down, and the books, cards and games that were furnished.
There are beautiful forests and waterfalls within driving distance, and our cabin had beautiful views and woods behind it.
