Review of Econo Lodge
1.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Aug 21, 2017via mobile
Horrible costumer service!! Worst motel ever ! As soon as we get to our room we tired turning on the light they were not working and it was a bad oder so we asked go changed rooms unfortunately "that was the last room " she tells us .. we use our flashlight to find another light there was several roaches on the wall !!! So disgusting smhh so she tells us we have to speak to the manager when the manager arrives he is yelling at us and just being rude ! How do you treat costumers like that smh and than he drives off rather than dealing with his costumers who had a horrible experience smh

Very friendly staff and helpful. The rooms are nice and upkeep. It is close to everything. The interstate is not far from the hotel.. Peaceful parking lot and will light at night. Very safe to park...

Didn't realize until I was getting ready to turn into hotel that this was the same place I visited and left immediately a few years back, BUT since I was up at 3am this morning and needed just a few hours sleep before my early am flight, I figured I'd try. The female clerk pleasant enough allowed me into couple rooms, each having some mild odor to them, she ensured me that rooms were recently refurbished and no bugs.
Towels are course, no clock, furniture old & outdated. New plasma TV with plastic still on around corners, com cast channels, door did not lock properly, and huge gap under door, I placed extra towel to keep out any unwanted guests. Area doesn't look the best, security cameras all over.
If you don't mind getting what you pay for this is the place for you for one night, any longer I would definitely recommend another place.

I can tell you from personal experiences that this Econo lodge has a courteous staff. If you have a problem with the room or expenses, the front desk will work with you. That's something I personally appreciate.

OK beware!!! Bedbugs!!!! Take your money to Motel 6 for a really good clean night sleep. About 5 mins from this bedbug dump! @Jonesboro exit 235 . This place is the most disgusting, dirty hotel I ever seen and I stayed in a few because of work. I was immediately wondering by the parking lot being empty on a holiday weekend. The staff which I saw only one needs to learn customers are first and a smile is a good thing. He charged a senior 70$ for a bedbug infested room...he said no senior rate a r i stay a lot with econo! I know cost. We enter room and I always do a check. I pulled cover off mattress and the biggest bedbug went running across sheet. We then tried to tell staff and he got mad because we tried to tell him about it. He ask were key was. I throw it on desk in room and ran out. I informed him that it was in room. I wanted my refund and wasn't leaving till I got it. He almost tried to keep the 70$ but then throw it at me and my family .Yes throw. I actually have friends who run and own a Econolodge. I going to write and call corporate on this. I feel this hotel is unhealthy for human habitation
Even for a night. If you drive hours and you end up here. You don't need to get bite and carry home a reminder of your visit with you because someone doesn't want to pay for a exterminator....and won't clean correctly. Yes the light on at the 6. 2 miles less to drive.

Don't stay at this hotel. There was a bad smell as soon as you open the door. Hotel employees must have gone nose blind. The carpet in front of the sink was soaking wet that even putting 2 towels on the floor would not dry it up. The dead bolt on the front door did not work and the breakfast was a joke. I will never stay here again.
